There’s a cracking video on the clubs socials of the fans in the “Stench and Benno” stand as the win is secured. Two young lads especially at the front giving it licks, love to see it.

My brother said it’s the best T20 game he’s ever been too, in part because of the atmosphere

Jeepers we made hard work of that! But what a win, putting a decent score on the board for them to chase is like an extra 6 runs  error they’ve started.

Caught most of their innings on the stream but lost signal on the train during Van Beek’s last over. Arsenal dropped out when signal came back lol

Also found it strange he gave Walker a last over when he was so expensive and Trevaskis who went for 5 still had 2 left. But still, will take the win.

Sounded a decent atmosphere as well from the stream.

I was watching the Richard Rae stream on You Tube and I couldn't really hear the crowd for some reason. Were you watching a different stream (or is there something wrong with my TV - or hearing!)?

Atmosphere was not quite as good as I was hoping, I think to the excessive music..

There's a definite change for the better, without a doubt. There were a few parties there like you see at the racing nowadays. That's new. More 20, 30 somethings who stood up, cheered and punched the air for wickets, that's more noticeable. The Stench and Benno has now 60 or 70 hardcore instead of 10-15.

But music plays from, say, catch to the next ball. A good 90 seconds or so..Which means the improved atmosphere has been drowned out and died out by the time the bowler starts his next run

.

Also means bowlers at end of over never heard applause for a good over. Batsmen who played a good innings never heard the claps as they came off.

I know it's a T20 thing, not county thing. But just shortening the music from 90 seconds to 20 seconds would be much better

Salisbury has bailed out Walker and van Beek, but he's massively helped out Kimber because that was really poor

It seemed to me from the stream, that Masood was having to help out a lot at the end. It's a learning curve for Kimber, he is being asked to captain and take on the role of pushing the score on in the poweplay at first drop. All this when he he hasn't even established himself as first XL player in all formats. There's a huge difference between where he is as a player and person and where Handscomb is.

I would expect some cock-ups, he's not Ben Stokes.

Yeah I posted again, that it's not an issue if he's learning from it

Whilst true, the decision to put pace on the ball again when we had just about completely killed the game off was baffling.

Still, didn't cost us the result last night and if that's part of a learning curve for him then great.

Would've been the biggest bottle job in T20 history had we lost. I was sat there in the last over thinking 'How has it come to this' Kimber is not captain material and should step down!

Jesus mate what must you have been like in the bad old days when they didn't win a match for 18 months or whatever it was!

75% win ratio so far and he's contributing personally with bat and ball. Give the lad a break.

People act like comebacks and recoveries never happen in T20, but they do. Peter Trego made this point when arguing against the hundred, because the extra three-and-a-bit overs do give you space and time for that.

Yes, there were some suspect bowling changes but Durham fought back well too. They deserve credit for running us close.

Yeah telling him to step down is harsh loldefinitely needs to lean on and learn from Masood as much as possible

Maybe I was abit harsh on Kimber yesterday. Just couldn't believe we nearly thrown it away. I'm a natural pessimist and even i said there's no way we can lose this now when they needed around 17 an over at 6 down.

Their batting line up looks very strong. Surprised they've lost 3 out of 3. Really need Hull, Rehan and Holland back asap.

Tbf they scored 224 in the first game and still lost. How’s the pitch looking?
