Yeah, guessing with how many they've lost they just decide to use it as a bit of a development competition, instead of throwing money at overseas for it. I guess we'd look slightly silly having an entire line up sat doing nothing (we could probably play 1 or 2 more youngsters though)

Wonder who the coach was who was sacked for sexual  misconduct?  Don't think it can be Nico because the article says the coach in question hasn't worked in cricket since and the badger has had a few coaching jobs since then in the states

Probably isn’t Leicestershire? Can’t see anywhere that says it is?

Great start for Leicestershire.

 

Bit of a second team for me (Durham fan) and I try to get to Grace Road a few times a year. Delighted to see them doing so well this season.

Seen enough already, get him in the England team. He’s had a lot of time with Flintoff this summer which will have helped a lot.

Can't say I know much about their bowlers, but I imagine their fans would have said that about Green.

 

Their strength was in batting today so we've done a great job there.

I cant get the sound to work

They were saying he might have tweaked his hamstring. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Looked like he walked off without treatment- probably a minor strain.

Bit of ice and rest and should be OK then if so. We've done well to restrict the chase, so hopefully we can reach it without him being required and risk upsetting the niggle any further
