You are responsible for the win.

No! It was all down to me!! My philosophy of sitting on the sofa in front of the live stream and not moving a muscle for three hours was definitely what did the trick!

Unfortunately not with the bat

He is a bowler first and foremost and I feel like a few of us have forgotten that given how well he did last season. Today he had them on toast, dare I say an international standard bowling performance from him.

Also I don’t think we’re going to be seeing Budinger again this season. Although god knows how he got onto the pavilion roof to commentate as those stairs are treacherous at the best of times. Can see us extending Gumbs contract and giving him a run in the MetroBank.

What is the extent of Budingers injury then? Not really heard anything.

That's debatable.Rehan himself considers himself a better batter then bowler so do many in the media esp Mike Atherton.

Good to see Ahmed so pumped. Looked like he wanted to prove a point. Alex green also bowled well. Taking risk against Ali lead to a few wife’s but a couple were harsh and it’s a fine line.

good to see Ben green take final wicket in what has been a tough season for him so far. Great old fashioned bowling performance. Well done

Maybe the way forward is to produce slow, stodgy wickets for T20s at GR. In a low scoring game, it gives the underdog a better chance of winning, I think. If yesterday's pitch had been a road, it's very unlikely we would have outscored their batting line up.

Good to see two academy lads in A.Green and Ahmed leading the way with that bowling performance. The two old stagers in Davey and Holland were solid and even though they're all different styles of bowlers a lot our young players are hopefully learning about the mental and tactical side.

Shame we're now going to lose Holland for the second half of the Blast. Hopefully we'll see Scriven replace him and not bring Mike back.

Is he off to play International stuff?

I think we have to embrace the fact we’re going to have to pack the team with spinners/pace off as our pace attack just isn’t quite at it. If we get beaten then so be it, but it’s our best chance, especially now Rehan is back. Surprised Turner didn’t bowl more yesterday and maybe on reflection he should’ve. But we should be getting 12+ overs out of spin I think. Said earlier in the thread that Rishi would get wickets too, even if it’s caught on the boundary.

He didn't - that's his brother. Been at Leicestershire for a long time (since he was 13) and netted with Leicestershire and Notts when he was 9-13.
