Although he's 36 next month, Holland's still more than 8 months younger than Mitch Starc. Given his age and MLC commitments, a county move would seem strange - hopefully it's just all parties getting the season out of the way before making an announcement. 🤞

A little like Darren Stevens, the pace he bowls at won't have too much of an affect on him physically. He's a well-travelled, intelligent bloke, so he's probably weighing everything up. I'm only speculating, but having American citizenship could open up a range of opportunities for him, cricket's in the Olympics over there in 2 years, for example.

He isn't good enough to get in the USA side don't think he's played for them in the last 4 years

FFS over 100 partnership now they're going to get at least 350 we have to watch we don't skittled and end up losing.

Getting close to the record partnership set in 1925 on a side note Yorks 50-5 another failure by Bairstow.

I know he's said selection is too political. I was thinking more about the non-playing side.

He's also got his own company making a gadget for surfboards.

Surrey will hopefully lose and have a pitch inspection.

21 wickets and counting on "bloody Thursday" and there are still more than 30 overs to bowl!

Better if Surrey were to win and lose everything to a pitch marked down as a "sh1t tip"; that way both teams earn almost nothing from the game.

And the record partnership is complete lovely long hop from Hull to bring it home.

We were probably always likely to have to bat for the best part of two days to be certain of getting something out of this game.

At least we're more likely to start batting tomorrow now, rather than being 23-4 at close of play today.

We can just be 23-4 in the morning instead

They’ll probably get points added on. But 30 wickets in not even 2 days is wild. Good job they’re not playing Glamorgan

What was Gumbs thinking, taking a single on the 5th ball of the penultimate over with a nightwatchman at the other end, just to get cleaned up 3 balls later. Total brain fart.

Not exactly a noghtwatcan you could put your faith in. Surely you send out Davey in that scenario?
