Yeah, just switched on the radio commentary and they said there were officially six left, but there'll be a couple more if we look somewhere close. Be an unbelievable boost to win this in two days.

Now just needing 20 something they’ll play the extra half hour. Can see both teams wanting this done tonight for different reasons. Great win, will pull us closer to Kent.

It's so nice to have a competitive side again, Nixon has worked miracles in such a short space of time- the future looks bright, even if we lose a couple of players. I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a lot of work being done on the youth set up too- hopefully we will see plenty breaking into the first team in the next few years.

 

Division 1 has been so far away for so long- we're right in the mix now though.

make no mistake, this is going to be a stunning win. All involved deserve massive credit, but quite clearly Nico is leading something of a revolution, with bowling coach Matt Mason doing incredible things with the bowling group.

Unfortunately Sussex are on the verge of an even bigger victory than ours. We are in the mix though, as someone said earlier, and that's verging on the miraculous after recent years.

Great win. Worth the trip to Canterbury over the last few days. Good ale they have a CAMRA tent! Nice enough people. Said we were the best they had played. 

 

Bloody hot but beer only 3.80 a pint!

 

Recommend the trip.

Horton seems like a really good calm customer from his interview.

 

The best change this year is that we have gone from struggling like anything to get 20 wickets to smashing through tales for less than 50 runs, Middlesex aside.

Well done to all the lads and Paul Nixon. It's great to see us winning matches and even when we don't win in the CC, we are giving a really good account of ourselves. We all know Paul Nixon loves the club and he seems to have got the players having some pride in the shirt. After a decade of misery, it's great to see us looking so competitive.
