Abbas had ripped the aussies apart again. Just need the batters to perform and we have a shot against anybody.

We'd best hope they don't fancy him for their ODI or World Cup squad next summer...

Been informed by the club that they will make a loss of around wait for it 300k this year with similar losses expected for 2019  not sure how Khan can keep his job after this

That's absolutely ridiculous, how can it even happen?

They put it down to 3 things  the financial results for 2016 inc an Elton John concert income of 184k last year income inc hosting 7 women's World Cup matches 363k and  finally Michael Carberry  coming at premium cost with a very heavy pay off which must be the worst signing in the history of the club

Pride comes before a fall...I dread to think how much we've paid to get rid (or rot in the 2's) over the past few years. Thing is that most of them have been good enough to be first teamers. Genius leadership.

Disaster. Do they have a plan of how to proceed?

Don't suppose so.

Can't see us bringing anyone else then, no more signings and massive debt.

The extra 1.3 million they will receive from the ECB in 2020 will thankfully paper over the cracks for now anyway

Was hoping this story had gone away but I hear from a very good source that Nico and WK are pushing very strongly for Shifty Shiv to be resigned let's hope the board members against the idea hold firm

Youth teams etc would a guy on the sex register be allowed around the indoor school etc? Genuine question not sure how these things work?

Are we actively pursuing any decent batsman? Because my god we Could do with a couple.

Reading through next season's fixture list, we have a maximum of THREE weekend days (plus one Bank Holiday) of home Championship cricket.

Fvcking dreadful.

I don't think Khan has done a bad job, improvements on the pitch are visible. Nixon's appointment is positive.

TBH Leicestershire need massive investment, realistically from a sugar daddy who isn't to concerned about making a profit, quite simply a profit at Grace road is not possible without subsidies.

It's possible someone out there, in the business community will get on board. Happened at Hampshire and Somerset when they were on their arse.

Happned at City so let's hope! For the price of an average midfielder in the premier league you could change a County Cricket Club forever.

Let's be honest, has he actually taken the club forward? I honestly don't think so.

No not really made some terrible and costly signings Carberry Jones Pettini White etc plus the Keith Piper debacle not to mention many costly non playing decisions which will result in a huge loss for the next 2 years

The annoying thing is we have a board member in David Wilson who's worth over £500 million he just sadly don't want to part with any in the County's direction
