Not sure if Abbas will make the cut for the World Cup.They have rested 6 first team players from the squad for the current tour down under and Abbas has bowled poorly in the first 2 matches

Terrible thing to say but I hope he doesn't. We need him more. Looking forward to another season. Always hopeful at this stage

If there's money in the budget can't we spend it on a second overseas player who can bat in the top 5 for T20, or is it not a case of one or the other?

Not sure we need him on contract with Abbas hopefully Davis Taylor Wright Mike and Klein can always give him a call if we get a few injuries

Think your right yep. Better bowler than Klein mind you. Maybe a pay and play basis? Although as you say should have enough. Maybe worth a few months If Abbas get the nod for Pakistan

Indeed, and worth noting against broadly the same attack we were an embarrassing 16-4 last year. Small steps, but big daddy hundreds like this build confidence and mean the next time they walk to the crease they will be feeling extra good about themselves. Hope one or two more batters get good time in the middle. Declare at lunch tomorrow and put pressure on ourselves to bowl them out again in two sessions.

The Cricketer is reporting that Leicestershire are in talks with the ECB about a large cash injection and then a long term bail out. Not good reading 

 

Also as a member find it annoying that Sky are reporting on this as are BT sport yet County have said nothing.
