Can't see the last 3 surviving the new ball and clipping away 120 runs to avoid the follow on but the closer they get, the more likely Worcs will look to bat again. A decent rear guard putting overs in their legs.

At least we haven't completely capitulated. In the past this would have been over by tea. Odds are we will lose but it's not all been bad.

True but frustrating that we've failed to follow up that great away win at Hove. Seem to be better away than at home.

I don't think we help ourselves by tending to produce pitches which favour batsmen when we're a much better bowling side.

This is true but the toss rule has put paid to any home advantage by having bowler friendly pitches, we’d get put in and get skittled out.

True. I'd fancy our chances much more in a low scoring game though- we just don't have the batsmen who can go on to make massive scores on decent pitches.

If you prepare a batsman friendly pitch, don’t bowl on winning the toss too and let them control the game from the off. (Easy to say with hindsight to be fair though.)

Both Surrey and Glamorgan have been thrashed by well over 100 runs, Lancashire close to doing similar so we aren't alone today.
