GG has bowled well.

Will be tight I think

Patel gone 32 off 17 but looks like he can read the game, the Inglis dismissal also looks like the difference.

His footwork was great to watch, especially compared to some of the ‘stand and deliver’/pre meditated attempts by some of the others.

Inglis and Patel looked really promising.

Hopefully Steel will have better days with the bat, just never able to hit the accelerator.

Yeah, got to take the positives from that performance with those three in particular. Steel just needs to pick his moment to go a bit better, in the way Allen did for them (appreciate that easier when you're setting).

Frustrating performance. We really set it up and should have got closer than that. Steel, 54 off 52 balls and ends up not out. He should have been taking more chances

1st game rust.

I'm glad he had a good spell in so that he can open up a bit more tomorrow

Steel cost us this game. Carrying your bat for 54 in a T20 game???! Otherwise, I thought we did pretty well against a team packed with top quality players. Patel looks a real player, as does Inglis. And well done to Griffiths, who is pretty decent in this competition. Shame that Parky had an off night - went for over 40 whilst their left arm spinner conceded only 15.

It wasn't all bad. Toughest start we could have had really Lancashire away. So hard to score boundaries.

Bowling and fielding pretty good. Just got bogged down in the middle overs.

Possibly need to bat Patel a bit higher.

Steel may get going now. First game.

They seemed to knock it around for 2 on a regular basis we seemed to keep hitting it for singles to boundary riders also playing Mike as just a batsman leaves us with quite a tail starting at 8. Also being very critical we could have pushed harder at the end going for twos rather than jog singles as run rate might make a difference towards the end

Steel cost us last night. Criminal that he didn't run himself out. Nick Welch wasn't even in the 14 man squad. He had a good spell last season, would like to see him in for Steel tonight. Think Swindells may get a go tonight.

And got a first baller tonight.

Inglis and Lilley, two of the big hitters, already gone tonight.

Looking grim.
