We were looking totally in control until the spinners came on but now it's a different game. Even if we manage to scrape a small lead, which is touch and go, you have to worry about our chances of batting last against their spinners chasing much above 150.

Exactly. Think we might have a bit more joy if we change tactics and get after their spinners though- we allowed them to settle a bit.

This is on a knife edge.

 

What a pitch, by the way- something in it for the batsmen, seamers and spinners, play likely to go into day 4 but draw highly unlikely- red ball cricket at its best.

They’re essentially 30-2, the pitch still isn’t doing too much. We can certainly still win this.
