Micky Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 It seems even my sledgehammer humour is too subtle for some. humour?
Father Ted Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Looks like there could be some truth in this. anyone know how reliable the 'teamtalk' website is? Its just like the others really, it probably just heard it on SkySports.
Kent Fox Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 humour? Fez humour! It took me a while. But you'll get there - just keep with it
sdb Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 he's impressed me whenever i've seen him although he never seemed like much of a goal threat. still, in the championship he should be good. hopefully he's not lost his drive - that'd be my main concern
Pete_foxes Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 It seems even my sledgehammer humour is too subtle for some. Oh, Ha. I didn't realise. Just with some of the idiotic comments you get on here, I thought it realistic that someone on here would post that and think it were true.
Babylon Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Be interesting to see how this ties in with Allen's declaration that he pulls out of deals if they become public. He said he "had been known to pull out of deals". It wasn't a declaration that he would, the man isn't that daft.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 As long as he dosen't take penaltys for us, remember that one he had for boro against us in that 3-3 game at the Riverside and he basically rolled the ball into Walkers arms HaHa
Bryn Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 If in doubt, all black strikers are quick and strong but with a bad touch and are generally poor finishers. Not all of them, just the ones that end up at Leicester
lee7 Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 job looks quite tall so if he did come we would be more dangerous from set pieces
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 hmm dunno what to make of this, Jobs never been prolific. That could a different matter in the Championship.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 It seems even my sledgehammer humour is too subtle for some. I liked it. [Yorkshire accemt] WELL PLAYED JAMAL [/Yorkshire accent]
MPH Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 job looks quite tall so if he did come we would be more dangerous from set pieces just need to complete the kippe signing now!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 just need to complete the kippe signing now! That seems to have floundered.
MPH Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 That seems to have floundered. please! no more! i nearly gave myself a double hernia last time with all the laughing!
rickylcfc Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 not sure if it's true or not & u probably know this already, but looks like joseph-deire-job is on his way to the walkers... skysports, Leicester have been confirmed as the likely destination for Joseph Desire Job. Skysports.com revealed earlier this week that Job was ready for a move back to England. Now his representative Barry Silkman has confirmed that Leicester are the club looking to sign the 29-year-old. "They begin with L, end in R and are owned by the former Portsmouth owner [Milan Mandaric]," he told Sky Sports News. Job spent last season with Sedan where he scored nine goals, but they suffered relegation and he is now keen on a return to England.
Koke Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 If in doubt, all black strikers are quick and strong but with a bad touch and are generally poor finishers. Actually Im black and I can sort of finish. Im not that bad. But that must be because I look kinda white, so I see myself as a black-almost-white man
He's not bald Posted 30 June 2007 Posted 30 June 2007 Actually Im black and I can sort of finish. Im not that bad. But that must be because I look kinda white, so I see myself as a black-almost-white man Give us a job!
Bojimha Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 I would love it if this turned out to be true, i think he will score a fair few goals in the championship and is easily better than any of the current crop we have at the moment.
blue blood Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 i guess McCay was at boro while he was there? maybe he has a hand in this one? If it turns out to be true mt McCay is proving to be quite a useful, wise old head already.
STUHILL Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 ALways thought Job looked very handy when he came on for Boro. Mackay definately had a say about this one! I think he could score a lot in the Championship. Does this mean we won't get Todorov then??? I hope we intend on playing Hume in midfield, so we get Todorov too! Or maybe i'm just SPOILT!!!
Durnerz Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 This would be a good signing, he's similar to Cort, can be lazy but equally can be brilliant, very good in the air from what I remember when he last played against us, I think he'd basically be an insurance policy for Corts signing, Job would stay fit a lot more, but we have a similar player to come in when Jobs injured in Carl Cort. Would be nice to have 2 big strikers and 2 smaller.
Blue Bob Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 i guess McCay was at boro while he was there? maybe he has a hand in this one?If it turns out to be true mt McCay is proving to be quite a useful, wise old head already. my thoughts exactly, seems like a good bloke to have around
Simon Posted 1 July 2007 Posted 1 July 2007 Potential to tear the Championship up I think. Easily good enough for this level. Would be VERY chuffed if we managed to bag him. We salute the Don
