It is clear the improvement isnt all expected from player personel changes, allen is expected to also give a kick up the ass to those who stay from last years squad so to expect an improvement all round. I also am expecting loanees from premiership clubs.

The new foxes deserve a chance I can see them doing pretty well under MA's control , but wezzo to be our top man next year ;):worship: wezzo :worship:

Now im known on here for writing an absolute load of to** but mate the guy who started this thread must be the stupidist guy i know, how the hell can you judge now. have you seen any of them play? have you even looked up what other teams say about them? i think you will find if you did your research, alot of the signings we have made are either youth players who are rated incredibly highly, or are loved by there past clubs. Just because there name isnt Eastwood, or Sharp, Or Keogh etc it DOES NOT mean they cannot be as good or even better than these players, just because you havent heard of them before doe not mean they are not good. Look at that sincalir guy down at plymouth know one knew him this time last year but look at him now, look at keogh, infact eastwood and sharp came from lower league sides, people have to start somewhere. more examples include Lennon, Guppy, didnt Savage come from a lower league? Izzet was on the edge of the chelsea system he was practically unknown when he came here. MA is building a team that has both youth and experiance and that is the formula that you need to go up. Now stop bloody moaning! and for once in your life support the team!! wait for pre-season, and the start of the seasn till you actually have some facts to work on before you go making stupid comments like the one you made at the beggining of this thread, silly little juvenile!

i think we should wait until we have seen the new team play a little bit more before we say that the new signings are crap

Maybe we were expecting more exciting signings, but we should remember that like when Saint Martin was with us, that a great manager can get incredible performances out of players who had been passed over or released by more fashionable clubs. Ade Akinbiyi (crackin' buyi) also illustrates that you can blow a huge amount of wonga on someone you think is a footballing God who turns out to be just another twat.

So we will have to wait and see if they are any good and if MA can get them playing well as a team.

That's an outrageous suggestion, and I don't think it'll catch on.

Totally disagree with the title to this thread. yes, ok, no 'household' names, if you can't see past that, then plain and simply you don't know an awful lot about football. Whether your siging is the new look of adidas or if your parents weree talking about him over a cup of coffee or not doesnt make a player good or bad. How can you judge these players untill you see them. I have trust in Allen, he wouldnt accept any slackers into the club, so on that note i am confident we will get 100% from our new sigings. Ok, it may be a little frustrating we havent made a big siging yet, but on the other hand i havent seen one of our sigings and though ' oh big mistake ' from what ive seen its the making of a solid squad. And lets remember, the money singing will be made in the next month or so to come. We have the basics, and more in the from of a decent keeper, experienced defenders etc... the attacking midfielders will come about when they come about... All in all, our sigings have been quality in my opinion.

when i said judge them... i meant judge them to be awful ( as most of people on this forum slag our players off to hell )

Your obviously worried because the players you expected us to be signing are getting snapped up elsewhere and you were maybe expecting some money splashed about. Instead we get semi knowns with good reputations at there old clubs but released none the less for whatever reasons but a total rebuild of that naff squad of last season. Stop worrying till the season commences , get behind the new boys ....and theres more to come ....and hopefully go!!!.......still got my fingers crossed for that midfielder though with a bit of quality!!

St Martin's signings as you put it were at least 'up and coming players' that some other teams had tentatively looked at i.e. Lennon, Savage, Izzet and Elliott (Guppy was proven at the level he was bought at). Some of this bunch do seem to be serial failures in one way or another. I do believe that the right manager however can turn certain under performers around. MA on the other hand has a few to turn around out of this bunch.

I think you're just utterly bored.

You seriously ask such a question before we've even started the season, let alone played a competitive game in the offseason?
