Raj Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Jean Tigana if possible. Which it probabley isn't.Failing that Gary Johnson of the names that have been mentioned, and Russel Slade of those that haven't. He's the man!!! Time for City to go Continental. But i doubt we will.
Master Fox Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I would like to see John Barnes given the job. He was brillaint when in charge at Celtic
Lord Nibblington Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I faill to see how people can class Neil Warnock as a good manager. Sure, he got Sheff Utd promoted... after 7 years. And then promptly got them relegated. And can we please take a second to look at his record in the transfer market? How can anyone see appointing him as a good move? Honsetly.
Ric Flair Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I think Warnock coming here would be incredibly funny. It would be the tip of the iceberg, i'd find it hard not to see the funny side. I'm past caring now, as long as we keep getting entertained by endless fall outs, astute non-entity foreign signings and masses of media attention then I won't grumble.
Thracian Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Yeah he was which is why I say I would rather have him back and get relegated, than have some egotistical yorkshire moron who once called for us to cease existing. I'd rather have Thracian in charge actually, or maybe even Kermit the frog. Warnock burnt his bridges with me I'm afraid and don't think I'm the only one either because I assure you I'm not. Kermit could be assistant. At least I could trust him which would be quite something in the corridors of Leicester City.

We'd end up with Elvis Hammond and Carl Asaba up front. He'd love Elvis. Love him. He'd sell any good players we have to make way for 30 identical, cr ap, black strikers. That's not racist. It's just his criteria. He's a prat.
Raj Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I think the majority of football fans in general hate him,not just us!!! Apparently he IS a decent bloke AWAY from football. I personally don't want him at City. I would throw my ST at Jobber if he came here.
Raj Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I'm past caring now, as long as we keep getting entertained by endless fall outs, astute non-entity foreign signings and masses of media attention then I won't grumble. Agree 100%...We are a fcuking farce at the moment!

That's exactly what I think! It will be hilarious! Moaning overload on here! Just think of the protests and the fans on SSN! Warnock out before he's even taken charge of the team for his first game! I really hope we get him just for the entertainment value. If we're shit we just sack him and make him look a bigger ****. Everyone’s a winner!

Daggers Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I'd like us to be managed by someone unauthordox, I don't play by *the rules*How about............................................. ...the worlds fattest man Press release No Embargo In light of recent speculation about me being linked with the vacant manager's position at Leicester City FC, I would like to express my desire not to be further associated with the position. Currently, in my role as the World's Fattest Man, I have many activities to attend to - such as eating entire populations of Third World countries for the World Bank. I would like to extend my best wishes to Leicester City and Milan Mandaric in their quest for a new gaffer. Ends.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 7 figuresGeoff Horsfield. 7 figures Ade Akinbiyi. Need more be said. He managed to get Keith Gillespie to play quite well though. Just an observation, please don't think I want him as our manager. Goodness no
Raj Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Warnock and MM may give us a laugh or two but surely its time for some stability. Seem to say this everytime we appoint a new manager but the next appointment has to be crucial and the correct choice. Im pissed off with LCFC being a laughing stock and being in the media for all the wrong reasons...... (tantrum over! )
Simon Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I'm with Pablo. If MM understands anything about this club, it should be that Neil Warnock should not get anywhere near to managing Leicester City after what he said and did. I do not want the guy anywhere near this club, and if MM has any sense, he'll think the same.

Im pissed off with LCFC being a laughing stock and being in the media for all the wrong reasons...... (tantrum over! ) LCFC fans think stability means putting up with someone who isn't up to the job. ie Levein/RK. Both should have gone MUCH earlier. But we crave stability. So they didn't. Arrest the decline! Shoot the monkey! Man the cannon! Reach for the stars! Tread on bodies if we need to - look, there's Ian Marshall in the gutter. Use his carcass as a stepladder. Use his gut as a trampoline! Warnock? Bo llocks off. Keegan? Pah - off with your attacking flair. Jewell? A year off? Sod you! Pleat? Welcome aboard mate. You've got 20 years. Be sh it all you like - we're just looking for stability. A 1-0 loss each week will do.
Father Ted Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 He managed to get Keith Gillespie to play quite well though.Just an observation, please don't think I want him as our manager. Goodness no I thought he played brilliantly at Leicester. He wanted to stay but Levein got rid of him because he wanted to cut the wage bill (but he still paid Flab Douglas 10 times more than anybody else), he even offered to have a pay cut to stay at the club.
Flynny Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 If MM has any sense, he'll think the same. If he had any sense he wouldn't have sacked Martin Allen. Oh well.

But we crave stability. So they didn't. After all the managers we've had of late surely we could have found ONE decent one to provide stability??? Were they ALL that shit??? erm........maybe......ALLEN?....Oh fcuk it!

And then promptly got them relegated. And can we please take a second to look at his record in the transfer market? How can anyone see appointing him as a good move? Honsetly. It's probably very similar to MMs.
davieG Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Kermit could be assistant. At least I could trust him which would be quite something in the corridors of Leicester City. Depends on whose hand is up his arse
Simon Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 If he had any sense he wouldn't have sacked Martin Allen. Oh well. I did think that to begin with, but the more I think on it, the more I think that we don't know all the facts. So its a bit hard to make that call, in all honesty. I still have my hopes pinned on Tigana as DOF and Rodgers as Head Coach if Jewell has ruled himself out of the running EDIT: 2000 posts- YAY!
davieG Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Don't you just love rumours From the Fox Fanzine forum posted within 1/2 hour of each other stevostadium Posted on 4/9 12:30 Email this Message | Edit | Reply IAN DOWIE Just had a call from my mate who works at a bookies, and a certain ex City player (still has ties with the club) has been in and lumped on Dowie and says its a full gone conclusion. Apparently the betting has now been suspended on him. The guy who rang me is relaible and this isnt a wind upserc Posted on 4/9 13:01Email this Message | Edit | Reply Milan spotted with jewell just been chatting to a mate who says he saw mila an jewell having a meal in marriot arms in leicester. quite a good source. that will be good appointment but betting now suspended on dowie so is it could well be done deal!!

I was never very impressed, although admittedly he probably had his best spell in the run up to his departure. Just not enough crosses. Better than poor Josh Low, admittedly
Master Fox Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 I saw Neil Warnock in little chef eating egg, chips and beans. No sauce
