A black day for the sport, maybe, and certainly for French outside halves - but a real advert for the human spirit in rugby and in sport in general, really. You're both top 8 sides, not really a major upset as in the equivalent of, say, Greece winning a major tournament.

Tension, excitement, passion, determination, twists, mistakes, massive moments, all factors that I think make sport, and this sport in particular, so great. Yes, there was little flair or invention, little of the beauty that you as a Welshman hold dear to you but then I thought it had so much more to it to make up for these absent qualities. Then again, I would say that, right now I'm a very proud Englishman.

Swing Low Sweet Chariots!! Despite the commentators, I thought we looked strong throughout the game and always looked like we could get the points if we could get the forwards on the ball as they were too strong and heavy for the french. Unfortunately Jonnie semed to want to make us wait by constantly kicking downfield rather than off loading to Sheridan when on halfway but we got there in the end. COME ON ENGLAND BRING HOME THE POT!!
