Great feeling to get a new job - Well done Col, because it's tough out there at the moment over all sectors.

 

Most jobs out there seem to go internally rather to external candidates too so well done.

Nice way to get rid of the January blues, Col, well played. 

 

 

I'm in quite a bit of pain after a week of skiing and bevvying. Every time I flex/bend/move my knees and ankles it hurts a bit. Back in work on Friday, too. Gonna be a shock to the system after 2 and a bit weeks off. I like my job mind, so won't be depressing etc, just a bit of a shock actually having to get properly dressed and wake up/go to bed at normal times lol. 

 

Best mate's back from uni at the weekend for his birthday too, so everyone will be up for that, should be boss.

I was going out but been stuck on here. Wanted to go in Jessops on London Road 9if its not closed0 and get info about cameras.

Still got time. Need to get something to eat.

It's not communism anymore, if customers prefer him to you they'd choose him. There's not a lot you can do about it really, it is a bit petty with you making a big fuss over it tbh.

Its not the sales factor you idiot it's the morals,it's the being stabbed in the back by someone that you have helped in every aspect of their career ,giving them advice when down about work,training etc.I haven't lost a single account(yet) because believe it or not most of my customers love me and some I would call friends and in sales that goes a long way,but everyone has their price.im kicking myself because him getting these jobs was down to me.oh well,I know I'm better at sales than him( customer friendly) and he won't out cvnt me,it's my mission to take him down,and if I find any of his customers I will.He has certainly got me focused .When the companies mine I can't wait for him to come begging,and you need not hand your CV in either!

Hurray! Went for a job interview this morning for a job I really wanted and just found out, I've got it.

Dead chuffed...

There's a random little Indian called Jai Krishna in Finsbury Park (North London) that does Gujurat food. It doesn't look like anything special but the food is the closest to what I had in India, and you can eat like a King for £10-15. It's not that near Baltimore though!

 

I live in Lesotho now... so neither am I!

Waited in for a delivery all day today! Should have been delivered between 10am and 3pm. Still not arrived! Tried calling them twice, 1st women was rude and less than useless. 2nd guy confirmed its been dispatched but that he had no tracking. He would email the dispatch team so they can call the driver and give me a call! Nothing! Absolutely useless and i used up an annual leave day for this shit!

 

On the other hand i did manage to spend the day making a job application shit hot, so fingers crossed i'll be col's shoes in a week or 2! Well done by the way? Whats the job?

Right,we had a lad who worked for us several years ago and I had got him a job at my place as I used to work with his wife years ago and knew he had been made redundant .It wasn't much ,but a job,I knew he wanted to better himself so I pushed and pushed for a sales job in our sister company,which he ended up getting.Now the boss of the other company is quite impatient and wanted results immediately ,now I sat down with that boss on many occasions and said give him time he is a good lad and things aren't sorted overnight.Things were starting to come good but he applied and got a job doing the same thing with another company.After pouring his heart out to me and asking my advice.

Now I know its business but he has made a b line for all MY customers because he knows what they have and where they are.Luckily my customers told me this and let me know the low prices he had quoted as I get on with them.so as yet have not lost anything.Feel betrayed,used,let down and kicked in the bollocks by someone I helped get on the road.

Question.is he right in what he has done because its business at the end of the day?or is he being a snake for biting the hand that got him where he is.i haven't phoned him yet as I just feel like I will say something I could well regret myself.At the moment he is a cvnt in my eyes.

You've helped him out and he's stabbed you in the back, out of order in my opinion.
