I'd happily live in any northern city like liverpool, manc, sheff, leeds, maybe even newcastle. but you spend more on a half pint in london than you do on a night out here. and it's too big. and the people are cvnts. and there's too many of them. and they're cvnts.

i don't think there's anyone in london that's not a ****. Truly horrible people.

Going back to the 999 calls ive only had to call it once.

 

About 10 years ago me and 2 of my mates were in the lounge at my house when i heard my dog making noises from the kitchen. I went into the kitchen and noticed the door was open with my dog half in half out and his tail wagging. I went to the door to close it and 2 blokes dressed all in black :ph34r:  :ph34r:  were crouched at the door trying to keep the dog quiet. (Dog was soft as s*** so intruder came he wanted to play not attack lol )

 

When i got there the closest bloke got up and put a gun to my face telling me to get back in the house. In that split second i knew that the gun was just a BB gun from the size of the barrel. I said what the f*** are you doing and they ran off. Over in about 3-4 seconds. I went back into the lounge thinking that my mates were playing a prank. (One of my mates was my cousin who loved BB guns at the time.) They said they had no idea what i was on about and thought i was talking to the dog when i said wtf are you doing. At this point i thought best call the police as i knew some Gypsies had set up caravan site not far away and thought they may have tried to steal car keys that were in the kitchen. I shouted my brother from upstairs who came down with a golf club and ran down the garden looking but to no avail.

 

Called 999 and once i mentioned a gun over the phone it must have been under 5 minutes i had 3 BMW X5's and dog units everywhere. Police took my statement and i knew they didnt believe my story as they found my reaction to having a gun to my face 'strange' due to me not being scared for my life. Dusted for prints on the door next day but found nothing and a week later was told the case would be dropped. Nobody believed me that this happened.

 

We now come to about 2 months ago. My brother rings me up absolutely pissing himself. No idea why. He goes on to tell me that he had just found out who it was that put the gun to my face. It was a different friend of ours with one of his mates wanting to pull a prank on us. He had kept it a secret for years as once he realised the police were round he thought i best keep quiet and then forgot about the incident. He was out with my brother having a beer when he remembered the incident and told my brother everything. Our mate said he was proud of how i reacted after basically telling them to get the f*** out the house. So now people believe me that it actually happened now our mate has admitted to it.

 

The funniest part was my brother was getting a blow job off his missus when i shouted up to him that we had an intruder. He was devestated that i shouted to him half way and that ended that nosh off lol

 

I havent seen our mate yet. ( He is more friends with my brother than myself) But when i see him im sure we will have a good laugh about it. I suppose he got lucky that it didnt scar me for life lol

In Amsterdam, took two days to get here. Flipping missed the connection in Nairobi due to bad weather. I head back on Friday.

Waste of time.

 

 

At least you're not due to fly to your old home in Baltimore. Sounds a bit wild there at the moment.

kingcarrs post reminds me of when I was doing security. I was on a site with another officer. He was doing a patrol and came back and  said he heard what he thought was gunshots coming from a neighbouring site. I radioed our control centre to tell them and they said stay inside and backup would be sent. Within 10 minutes a ARU arrived rushing in with rifles and full body army. It was a little scary.

The next night an officer on a nearby site visited and he demonstrated what could have been hear by throwing a couple of stones onto the steel roof. Still think it was probably right to be cautious.

Having lived here for over 6 years I can assure you they're not :D

 

imo it's just people that don't want to be disturbed

 

i used to be like "why do people moan in london when others walk slow" but im turning into one of the moaners

Agree there Scouse, Northern England is easily the best place in the Country.

people moan at me for always mentioning london but it's not a competition.

 

london's a great place in my experience of living here, the north is also great.

 

people can be biased
