Extension on my dissertation granted because the analytical instruments were out of order for a while so we couldn't get the data we needed - not bad, gives me a few more days to tweak it and get it printed.

My main laptop has gone to the hospital. I think it may have to be put down. Its been making strange noises and I have been told the hard drive is about had it. The replacement is acting slow even though its got Windows 7.

The bloke who is looking at my other said he can get me another (he reconditions PC's) with W7 and transfer all the data over. It will have more memory. Its a HP so could be decent.

It wasn't that bad. Hull Royal Infirmiry. It's just such a long drive really. Monotonous English motorway. Humber bridge is a decent bit of architecture though

The police or military are doing some shooting practice today. Even though I know it is them, everytime I hear a gunshot I flinch.

 

Neither groups are any good at shooting. They had a gun fight last year which lasted a whole hour. No one was injured. So who knows which way these practice shots are going!

Humber Bridge is wonderful. We have some great bridges in Britain and that is one of the very best.
