SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 On loan Leicester City winger Max Gradel has travelled back to France to visit is Mum who was taken seriously ill on Tuesday. The tricky winger has put in a couple of exciting performances so far this season, especially during the away trips to Nottingham Forest and Leyton Orient. Gradel is now expected to miss the short trip to Swindon Town. AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond told the Daily Echo... 'I don't know when I will see him again and imagine he will be ruled out for Saturday. Even if he is back, he probably won't be in the right frame of mind. It's a blow for us but being with his family at this time is a lot more important...'
Soar Fox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Just like to offer my sympathy to Max Gradel on the recent death of his mother. All the the best mate

Geo V Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 As someone who saw his mum pass away when in my late 20s a few years back I can totally empathize with what the poor lad is currently going through. Its a horrible thing to go through when relatively young but for Max who has obviously been here for a while now will hopefully have a new "family" in Leicester to help him through his grief.
Ric Flair Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Very sad news, all the best Maxi. Is this a sudden death or is this the reason he went back to France a few weeks ago?
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Very sad news, all the best Maxi.Is this a sudden death or is this the reason he went back to France a few weeks ago? It's why he went back. I think.
Thracian Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 It's tragic. Max's mum was involved in a car crash in Paris in September. Must be a simply awful time for the lad. According to Vitalfootball, a facebook group has been set up for all members wishing to convey their support for the youngster who is still only 19.
Blue Fox Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 It's tougher than we thought! Link Best Wishes to you Max
