Monk Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Elvis with a PSP in his hand? More like Elvis with 5 women on each hand. Now you know why its called the "players' lounge"
dave_the_fox Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I just text him and he says ' in players lounge tonight, not at the min!' so fair does
Monk Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I tire of your consistent bracketeering.Hyphens-are-for-real-men. you-got-(moods)-(with monk)??
Scow Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 No doubt about his quality - I just hope he'll live up to expectations. Fitness and his own motivation might stop him from being a success - the latter probably being the decisive factor.
MPH Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 absolutly bloody delighted with this one. and may i point out he was my wish list striker a few months ago. great stuff. Now an intresting question.... would Allen of had the vision to go for him?

MPH Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 No thats why we ended up with DJ Campbell. got to admit.. this is the sort of player that MM would be liking that we have signed... if its to do with players then you can totally see why MM has desciribed Megson as ' the right man for the job'

MC Prussian Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 But if he's so good, why is he joing us???Who does he play for now... I'm confused!! Well, same ol', same ol'... I hope he can break the "LCFC curse" and bang them in like crazy!!!
Ozwin Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 What sort of striker is he? Out and out or Rooney-esk, bringing to the midfield and strikers together type of player?
dandannieldanok Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 What sort of striker is he? Out and out or Rooney-esk, bringing to the midfield and strikers together type of player? From what I've seen he has raw pace and strength and plays very much through the middle, perhaps not the best finisher but more than good enough for the championship.
morris1234 Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 What sort of striker is he? Out and out or Rooney-esk, bringing to the midfield and strikers together type of player? a bit of both really, hes not as aggressive as rooney but he is a powerful striker which we didnt have!
danny. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 apart from setting up fryatt, which he should have at least got on target, i thought John was pretty average and mediocre tonight. what did anyone else think?
JoeyB Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 He was ok, should of had a goal imho, looked good few touches, but will not make it at leicester because he needs service to his feet not 10 miles behind him or a ball booted at his head
Tevez Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I'd be embarresed to play with some of the shit we've got.
AyewJoking Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I saw him in the pre match warm up standing on his own. Looked like he wanted to take a few shots at the keeper but Stowell was doing that . Felt a bit sorry for him. He was disappointing when he came on. Lets all judge the guy after about an hour of football but didnt he use to be very good?
City Fan Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 FFS he hasn't even trained with the team yet!!! Just got thrown in at the deep end.
The Reverend Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Looked alrite i thought, definitely an improvement on what we have. We need to play him with DJ though, fryatt just isnt quick enough or strong enough, everyone goes on about Fryatts 'magical instincts', but hes had 2 clear chances today and missed both, missed the one at Scunny aswel. I just think we need some more pace and aggression of which Campbell has.

The Reverend Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Campbell cant finish either. And can you point out where i said he could? John can finish though.
Finnegan Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Bit mad playing him straight off the express from London. Interesting to see him at the weekend or next week if he plays.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I heard one fan comparing his first touch to that of Elvis Hammond. Some of our support are just total morons. Not match fit. But will be thrown in due to lack of alternatives and might be poor for some time yet and our idiot fanbase will probably get on his back, decide he is shit and boo his every touch.

Yeah lets blame the fans, i don't blame them no more. We have had the worst 4-5 years and people are fed up. I know we need to give people a chance but people are use to crap now.
