Webbo Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Disagree.Think Crouch has played well tonight. Offered us something new when he came on and certainly helped us when going forward. Whether it be flick-ons or hold up play, he's done well. Spot on.
Bert Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 How pissed off did Richards and Defoe look on the bench? A few others were having a laugh and them two were there with faces like thunder!
Samilktray Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 How pissed off did Richards and Defoe look on the bench? A few others were having a laugh and them two were there with faces like thunder! Micah should of started, Brown was looking awful first half.
MC Prussian Posted 6 February 2008 Author Posted 6 February 2008 Close to another equalizer. Good game, thanks to an entertaining second half. Congrats to England.
Bert Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 A much better second half. Bentley and Rooney stood out the most for me. When Switzerland get everyone fit, i think they should do alright in Euro2008, certainly no mugs.
MikeyT Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Gerrard was ok tonight but i dont think man of the match. I think Rooney or Bentley!
Samilktray Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Gerrard was ok tonight but i dont think man of the match. I think Rooney or Bentley! Thought Gerrard was immense second half to be fair.
Simi Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Thought Gerrard was immense second half to be fair. Wouldn't go that far. I thought we were quite sloppy and lazy mid way through the second half when we'd took the lead. Something that needs to be eradicated, because we will be punished against stronger opposition.
Joe. Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 I think we can overall be happy. We clearly tried to play it around tonight, and showed positive attacking signs that we wouldn't have shown under Sven or McClaren. Mainly I noticed that we were much more patient, and it paid off. My ratings: James 6 Brown 5.5 Upson 6 Ferdinand 6 A.Cole 6 Bentley 7.5 Gerrard 8* Barry 6 Jenas 7 J.Cole 7 Rooney 7
Daggers Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Could have had hattrick. T'was an impressive match on a crappy pitch all the same.

Giving Rooney a 7 is harsh, he was MOTM.
Finnegan Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 T'was an impressive match on a crappy pitch all the same. Yeah, I'm all for spreading it about the country, but when you're playing a half decent side like Norway; if Wrexham can't keep their pitch in shape it should have gone to Swansea.
Daggers Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Did you watch the game? Giving Rooney a 7 is harsh, he was MOTM. I didn't - but I'll take your advice and award him 122

I was a nat's tadgers from going this afternoon. Wish I had. Pitch be bollocks'd - Wrexham has terracing!
Tommy G Posted 6 February 2008 Posted 6 February 2008 Lawro "geeks" That was funny.. Anyone hear Motson showing his age... Called Wes Brown ''Wayne Brown'' towards the end of the game! I mean it's easy getting Brown and Bridge mixed up? Not like there near each other on the pitch, or even an entirely different race to each other. Made me
