Matt Posted 17 February 2008 Author Posted 17 February 2008 bloody hell. did anybody see the red card given to john jo o'toole in the watford game, do you think it was a red card because on the championship they said it was rescinded! Well it was a clear tug back on Clemence, I'd say it was red, clear through on goal and O'Toole decided he couldn't wait till the end to swap shirts with Clemence. Oh right Looks like it was the same old 30 second highlights then. DJ Campbell decided he wanted part of the "A" celebration did he?!
City fan @ Aston Uni Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 The red card was a shocking foul, didnt properly see it yesterday but that was appauling!!
Foxy1984 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 I really thought we deserved more than the 30 second highlights today! Was nice to see the goals again though. Good passing. Nice composed finishes I like it

Bezzanator89 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Trust them to put us last in the line of Championship highlights, despite a 4-0 win. What have we got to do to be a little further up the schedule list or maybe be a FEATURED game? Once again, the standard of the highlights is downright crap. Just think Match of the Day gets an hour and a half for 8/9 games and this crap soccer show gets 60 minutes for 3 separate divisions. Those production managers need a serious think, because just like us, loads of other lower league fans are getting very p***ed off with that show.
lcfc_jme Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Absolutely disgusting challenge from their bloke. Love Kisnorbo's reaction though, top bloke. Appears as though our finishing was actually good for once - shocking! And for those people stupid enough to slate DJ for his inability to use his pace properly of effectively, what the fuck do they think he was doing for his goal? Ran the line beautifully, ghosted away from the defender and had bags of time to pick his spot. When he gets minutes on the pitch and his match sharpness back, he'll be a quality striker for us. Providing we don't go back to hoofing all game, mind.
Bryn Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Four beautiful goals for us, the passing for each was excellent, especially for Howard's - where on earth has Hume been hiding passing ability like that?! I thought the slip through from DJ Campbell was exquisite as well. And I still want to hear Thracian specifically praise the 2 touch football from Laczko which put Clemence in They were all good, a treat to watch. So disappointed my Dad didn't wanna go down yesterday. I liked Kisnorbo's reaction too, passionate and it shows team spirit.

MC Prussian Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 http://bentleysroof.magnify.net/item/DNP4ZZZ7Q8X9WPWB Cheers for that link. Despite the win, I still don't like Holloway desperately trying to paint everything in rosy colours, no matter what situation: "I think that's three wins out of five at home, and we haven't done that in quite a while..." His overall record is still shocking. I certainly wish him well, and hope he can come up with the results against Coventry and Preston.

Roeder’s team were undone by the most routine of long diagonals by Canadian international Hume. yhamk you, ian edwards, of The Times...
claridges'_socks Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 The bit i like is when Alnwick comes rushing out of goal looking like he wants a bit of the action, gets there, has a change of heart then give Stearman a tap on the back! Nice one Ben

Nice one Ben That was a much better game, highlites were still abismal, but im impressed with those goals. you could blame some of them on the goalkeepers positioning though. Some good passing, some confidence showing, and a manager who kept his head in the interview after and promoted the fact we need consistancy. Im looking for him to put his actions where his mouth it now.
Brainy Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Why are you bothered if we're shown last? We're not the only team that get 30 seconds every week.

Nice one Ben If I was Alnwick I would have decked the dirty B*stard especially after the game at their ground.
