Candidcamera Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 That was a diabolical decision and surely the ref will stand up and say it was wrong. However, the goals were all bad. Even the penalty was hard luck on Hendo but he made up for any praise didn't he ? I just can't decide whether we are worse now or why we are so disjointed and pathetic.

We must appeal that decision for next week.

The worst thing about the decision is that he wasn't even going to give it but discussed with the linesman and changed his mind. Distance from incident: Referee - pretty damn close Lineman - other side of the pitch Err? What?
Daggers Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Not having seen the game or watch the recorded highlights, I am in a state of incandescant apoplexy about it all. Sack Milan! It's bound to be his fault (and the Foxes Trust)

It's bound to be his fault (and the Foxes Trust) Don't watch it Dave you will be enraged at the decision! You will have the voice in your head of "who the fook in their right mind could ever give that as a penalty"

I feel super-shit.
Ultra Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 I note that Leeds kept ANOTHER clean sheet yesterday, and their first goal came from a free-kick. Referees aren't the only ones to make shocking decisions, are they Ollie?

I knew he shouldnt have got rid of Kenton! Oh and it wasnt just any free kick - a Bradley Johnson free kick
Koke Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Agreed. We must appeal that decision for next week. Penalty or not, he was the last man wasn't he? I didn't watch Championship this morning but yesterday at the game it looked like Kisnorbo denied Sharp a clear goal scoring opportunity.

I didn't watch Championship this morning but yesterday at the game it looked like Kisnorbo denied Sharp a clear goal scoring opportunity. Cheat fell over, it was laughable! I was waiting for a mole or something to poke its head out of the ground and some witty comment from Harry Hill on you've been framed! Really it was that bad! Anyone hear Walshy on RL when he had been speaking to "some yorkshire reporter"? After the reporter said it was a clear cut peno Walshy was going to punch him in the face! Classic!
DB11 Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Kisnorbo had his hands up so that would have given the impression that he was pushed or something. Still, bad decision

Anyone hear Walshy on RL when he had been speaking to "some yorkshire reporter"? After the reporter said it was a clear cut peno Walshy was going to punch him in the face! Classic! As TV evidence showed the collision (not a foul) was several yards OUTSIDE the box, that reporter must have been drunk and/or on some seriously hallucinogenic substances. I'm sure none of our local hacks would ever dream of being so unprofessional..

Father Ted Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 I will say this over and over again and eventually you will all see how I am right, as I said with Clemence ages ago and how dissapointing he will be and have finally realised how many free-kicks and fouls Kisnorbo concedes from wrestling his man to the ground and then it's HOOF! And hey, its cost us yesterday where if we had the one-man more advantage we could have easily got a point or even stolen a win.

And hey, its cost us yesterday where if we had the one-man more advantage we could have easily got a point or even stolen a win. When Kis fcuks up, by all means have a go at him. But the fact is that yesterday, he didn't. Sharp deliberately slowed down looking for contact, and then when he felt it, he fell to the ground like he'd been shot. The responsibility for yesterday's red card, as with the one at Ipswich, lies with the ref - no-one else. Club officials less tainted by sleaze than Messrs Mandaric and Aldridge might well have a right to demand that the game should be replayed.
