Daggers Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was perplexed at him coming off - although his understanding with Stearman was a bit off at times he looked head and shoulders the better player on the wing than Hume has done. Pace, composure and control - although his intial balls in were a touch wayward.

Hope he doesn't suffer from the "Loannes who have a good game and are then shite" syndrome! Should have scored too!!!!

Daggers Posted 10 March 2008 Author Posted 10 March 2008 Cramp/some minor injury Aha - wasn't aware of that. Cheers
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I think he's just what we need and when he's fully fit, well maybe, just maybe...
Stevosevic Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I wasnt hugely impressed. At first it seemed he was getting the ball stuck under his feet, hesitating to run forward and just passed it backwards. I remember him getting passed the full back only twice and did not see much of his pace and power we were promised, and he missed an open goal. We'll see how he does until the end of the season.
Unit Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 That run he did in the first half, it didn't look right in a Leicester shirt.
Sods Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Was impressed. Quick, Big, Not afraid to take players on and can cross. What we need.
thybluefox Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was impressed, thought after him and DJ went off, we didn't know what to do. Very promising. Although I'm sure if he does well here Sven'll have him back in a shot.
The People's Hero Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 One of the things I've heard about him is that his favourite track is I Died In Your Arms Tonight by the Cutting Crew.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 One of the things I've heard about him is that his favourite track is I Died In Your Arms Tonight by the Cutting Crew. The song's actually called (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight. Sort it out!
Guest Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 The song's actually called (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight.Sort it out! It's a favourite of mine on Singstar: Rock Ballads. Well, I say favourite. Does making the other half sing it count?
The People's Hero Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 The song's actually called (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight.Sort it out! Sorry boss, I'm busy pretending to work.
Flynny Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I wasnt hugely impressed. Out. He was fantastic. When him and Stearman have an understanding our right-hand side is gonna be dangerous.
Guest Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was very impressed. His control at times was exactly what some of our players have lacked at times this season. Seemed to be very positive and always up for going forward. I reckon he's gotta start if he's fit against Southampton
RowlattsFox Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I thought he was a bit hit and miss, that surging run that led to a Hume chance was outstanding and then other times he looked as if he didn't know what to do with it, he didn't get much opportunity to run at their full back to be fair though. He held onto the ball a little to much sometimes but he managed to keep hold of it when under pressure. I wasn't that impressed with his crosses, some of them had too much air and Howard struggled to get power on them. Should have scored. You can definitely see that he's a good player though, and he is miles ahead of anything else we've got. He does seem a bit of a luxury player, will do nothing for most of the game but then conjure up some magic, aslong as he produces the magic then i'm not bothered what he does for the rest of the game. Hopefully he's picked up some tips from Martin Petrov on how to be a good winger.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Out.He was fantastic. When him and Stearman have an understanding our right-hand side is gonna be dangerous. They better get understanding each other pretty soon, there's not many games left.
Lovejoy Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was quite impressed with him. Big, quick, strong and direct which makes him better than our other "options" in these positions imo. But did anyone else think his feet looked to large for his body?
Super Arj Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 set aside that awful miss and he showed incredible pace and tricks did you see him piss arounf with their defender... must have been embarassing
Finnegan Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I think people need a bit of perspective. The kid's coming to us slightly unfit and out of practice, his first few performances are going to be rusty. When he got a bit of confidence and a bit of composure I thought he looked like a fantastic Championship winger. Pacey, quite strong, fairly good crosser of the ball and fairly good at running with it. Don't know how you can complain too much about him, really. Especially if a player only has to be as good as DJ Campbell to draw the plaudits of Foxes Talk.
STUHILL Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Good potential! Should have been signed in January though if possible!
The Reverend Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Good potential! Should have been signed in January though if possible! We aint got a chance of signing this fella permanently. He's a star of the future, and considering hes not played a proper first team game for a while, he looked pretty good.More of the same please Kelvin.
