brookfox Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1284750,00.html Scant consolation now but at least he's available for Saturday.
Monk Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Why do they always use that picture of Paddy with his tongue hanging out!
kylestyle06 Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 From BBC website: He didn't go down because he was pulled, he decided to go down because he over ran the ball." "Sort your life out Sharpie, you ain't on my Christmas list, you little turkey," said a fuming Holloway.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Wahey we should beat the Us now, as long as we score
Monk Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Incidentally how many red cards rescinded for us this season now? 3?
davieG Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 I think we should be asking for a public apology to the club and Kisnorbo. To be sent off twice in error in one season is a disgrace and in any other field of employment the perpetrators would themselves be subject to some form of punishment.

Had his perfectly good goal against S****horpe disallowed, too.
James. Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 This annoys me so much. For an awful decision we have effectively received absolutely no compensation. The fact he is available for Saturday means nothing as that would have been the case if the decision hadn't been made in the first place. So for an officially recognised bad decision we still suffer the effects of having 10 men for 75 minutes of a football match and a 1 goal deficit. I have no idea how else this should work, apart from the referee getting it right in the first place, but it angers me so much that we get f**k all in return. Especially during such a critical time.

I should think the linesman responsible for giving it will more than likely be dumped into League Two if that makes you feel anybetter.
Thracian Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Still think Mandaric should ask for an enquiry. It's all very well putting these matters right on a Monday morning. We've been effectively cheated twice over penalties/sendings off this season and no self-righteous disciplinary panel can give us the outcome of the games back. Why don't the football authorities put it properly right by introducing the technology that will sort it instead of going through this time-consuming and totally unsatisfactory performance each week? Even more ridiculous you get capable referees being forcibly retired while a succession of wankers seem to take their places cos I've been shocked by the low standard of Championship officials over the last four seasons although, while this year has been the worst specifically, it has not been as bad generally. This isn't simply about mistakes. It is about people being flag happy and preferring to guess rather than keep their flags down and only wave them when they are certain of what has gone on. As always, the best officials are the ones you barely notice.

It should be to the fans who get the apology, the lineman ruined 2000 leicester fans afternoon after 11 minute of the game. there goes my 24 quid.

If anything, he probably made my day. I'm certain we wouldn't have created an atmosphere like that if we were still in the game.
Father Ted Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 I was looking forward to a Bruno-Mcauley partnership at the back.
Thracian Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 If anything, he probably made my day. I'm certain we wouldn't have created an atmosphere like that if we were still in the game. You're right. And I think he should be invited to be linesman again on Saturday. I wouldn't mind picking him up from the station.

Didn't make mine, i know there was all the fun afterwards, but to be fair i go to game to hopefully watch leicester have a fighting chance of getting a result and that decision made that very difficult.

Well so do i. But 3-0 down after 20 minutes, with 10 men, away from home, it's highly unlikely that we was going to come back into it. So after that the fans made the most of the day out, and what a day it was.
Thracian Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 You're strange. Not really. But I've still a little work to do on the idea of condoning or turning a blind eye to the sort of people responsible for the farce we saw on Saturday. I'll get there!

No, I understand what you ment by it now. I in fact am the one who is strange.
Tilley Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 A small consolation. Just shows it obviously was the wrong decision but a little late now. Reminds me of the Ipswich away match.
richie1880 Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 It is some consolation that the appeal has been won and Kisnorbo is available again......but that doesnt make up for the incompetence of the ref and his linesman on Saturday.........75 minutes with ten men..........the phrase "you should've gone to spec savers" springs to mind. Maybe the ref should ply his trade in the conference this week!
Koke Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 This is bullshit - Second time this season it happens to the bloke. And both times it cost us vital points.
