James. Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I just wanted to draw some attention to Bell and get some thoughts on how everyone thinks he has done since coming here. In the matches I've seen him I've been very impressed. In other threads it seems clear that he needs to improve his final delivery but for once I genuinely think we have a quality footballer playing for us, and in particular and most importantly, playing on the wing. He's tricky, retains possession well under pressure, isn't afraid to take people on and has a good work rate. A proper footballer. And the added bonus is he wanted to come here, he's not just a journeyman looking for an easy ride. We need more players like him. I think he's going to be pivotal next season.

I thought that apart from Sir Bazz, he was our best player. If he improves his final delivery, he'll be a great asset for us next season. I think he's been quality since he arrived. It's nice to see a winger run with the ball and take people on, something we've been missing for a long time. I hope he keeps it up.

Koke Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I like Bell end very much. Good ball control, doesn't panic and doesn't give the ball away. And he takes on defenders, too. He just needs to improve his final delivery and then he would be some player.

Jack Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I'd be pretty happy if we signed him in the summer. From what I've seen of him he looks a decent player, although he seems to hang onto the ball for too long at times and his crossing is not the best.
