WetFlannel Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Alliance & Leicester stand is where their nutters go.
Stevosevic Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 The fact that there will probably be 6000 sheff wed fans in the home areas helps the total a little!!http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php...=79635&st=0 There wont be 6000 Wednesday fans in the home end.
Ozwin Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I want to go but whenever I've been this season we've lost so I'm thinking of just not bothering. I'm a jinx I tell thee.
Koke Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 6.000 in our home end is not true. Who the **** started that silly rumour? 3.200 at away end + 6.000 at home ends = 9.200
Milans Foxes Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 There wont be 6000 Wednesday fans in the home end. Obviously exaggerating but I bet there will be a few dotted around. We would of still got 30,000 yeah, its the last home game of the season, but I guarantee that the recent swell in sales is partly down to loads of sheff wed fans buying tickets in the home end. I would probably do the same if unable to get tickets in the away end for such a crucial game. Just hope there ain't any trouble.
Steven Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I know about 20 people who are going that don't usually, plus lots more who are interested. I wouldn't be surprised if we get close. Purely because of how important it is, people want to try and do their bit!!! Exactly as I will be making the effort to get there because of the importance even though that means me travelling from Brussels for the game.
Fat Ron Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I cant wait for this game, work is dragging so much this week
FilboFox Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Apparently 30000 have been sold already... just 2000 to go and still two days left. Could be a sell out if the official site have their figures right.
Simi Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 We're all wednesday aint we? missed out on allocation due to being away them two days. CAN'T MISS THIS, BIGGEST GAME IN YRS. Don't mind joining you in section P. WE'RE ALL WEDNESDAY AREN'T WE ???????
Mwah Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Think the poster who suggested that means 3,000 in the wednesday end and 3,000 elsewhere. 6,000 would be a tad too much XD
Simi Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Think the poster who suggested that means 3,000 in the wednesday end and 3,000 elsewhere.6,000 would be a tad too much XD Can you tell the people in our end to sing the David Blunkett song please.
Floating Fox Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Can you tell the people in our end to sing the David Blunkett song please. Remind me of that one!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I want to go but whenever I've been this season we've lost so I'm thinking of just not bothering. I'm a jinx I tell thee. Just go and support Wednesday, or bring a radio and support Southampton or Norwich ye fecking jinx!
FilboFox Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Got my ticket and it seems I was wrong... I'm in E2... could have sworn it was E3 on the site. Never mind... might pop up and see you lot at the top of E3 anyways!
FilboFox Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Looks like the Wednesday fans know that L1 is dangerous ground for them! lol And that they will be taking over many parts of the Family stand and behind the dugouts...
Raj Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Latest news! You may not recognise some of the stewards who normally 'steward' your area tomorrow. Thats because they are Sheff Wed fans who have successfully applied to steward the game. Beware!
Ashley Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Just had a mate call me from the ground, apparently only 200 left as of 09.30am. SELL OUT IT IS THEN!
dave_the_fox Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Just got through - - - ONLY single seats available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SamL Posted 25 April 2008 Author Posted 25 April 2008 There are now ONLY single seats available for this game. Please contact the ticket office directly by phone, email or person. There are no tickets available via our website. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Ric Flair Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 No wonder Milan is announcing a price freeze, he's sold 80,000 tickets to Sheffield Wednesday fans for tomorrow.
Stevosevic Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Great effort by our fans to be fair, there will be 2000 Wednesday fans in the home end maximum, more like 1000.

It will be interesting to see if they carry this out! The Club would also like to stress that any away supporters who take up seats in home areas will be ejected from the stadium.
Joe. Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 It will be interesting to see if they carry this out! Well they will if they make it obvious that they're Wednesday fans but I should imagine that the vast majority will keep schtum all game.
