How Awful To Be A City Fan In Leicester

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have just walked through the centre of town after Manure beat Chelski.

It seems incredible that we live in the tenth (?) largest city outside of the smoke, and yet the city centre is full of plastic Manure fans.

Many of whom either fit into the twat-off-the-estate category, or the I'm-proud-to-be-an-asian-from-leicester-who-doesn't-like-leicester.

Whilst watching the build-up to the game, there were some adverts from Derby County, with a fans soundtrack, saying they'd sold over 22,000 season tickets for next season.

Anyone care to comment on the difference ?

Just walked down to the gas station to buy some drinks, and there some Man Utd fans singing anti scouser songs in their Leicester accents

I was with 2 of my mates who are Man Utd fans, and fair play to them, they've been to every Man Utd they could possibly get to. Every home Champions League game too.

It does make me laugh how, when we have fans over the world it's fine, but when other clubs do, it's a disgrace. I know all that jibber about glory supporting and whatever, but so what, let them if they want to, but you all know my 1st sentence is right.

The team where you were born or the team your Dad supported - nothing else.

It's the law.

Doesn't seem to be does it? I was saying this to my Man Utd supporting friends. One of them said "I've always supported Man Utd" I said, "why" he couldn't give me an answer.

The best of it is when so called Liverpool (I know i know!) fans make out they have to hate Man Utd.

"Oh i fcuking hate Man united" They Say.

Wouldnt mind, but half the fcukers havent even been to Liverpool, probably couldnt point it out on a map but are sad enough to know every fcuking statistic about them you'd care to know.

Then they think they can have the audacity to hammer you as a Leicester fan who supports his own City team and has a Season Ticket???

The fcuking sad inbreds.

Ask them why they suport Liverpool and you'll hear the biggets load of bollox out

"Oh my grandad lived there for a week.....yeah fine but i bet the cvnt lived in Halifax for a week to,why dont you fcuk off and support them then?'

CVNTS!!!!

Fair enough IF they actually DO goto a game now and again BUT its still sad...VERY SAD!

I hope not, I was born in Alvaston Derby and lived there until I was 8 when we moved to Leicester. My dad doesn't really watch football but if anything watches for Derby's result! Do you mean I've been a Sheep all my life and didn't know it, am I able to go into rehab or otherwise cleanse myself!

I met some blokes who grew up in London when Leicester was awesome, and hence began following Leicester over their local London club.

Works both ways

When did this happen???

Yep i saw that advert yesterday as well, although when i saw it, the ad sad that just over 20,000 tickets had been sold!

They must have updated it by the time you saw it!

I was born in Moorgate avenue Birstall (someone said it’s not that nice now but was alright when I was a kid)...I moved to Bristol when I was 7 but never dreamed of supporting anyone else other than my hometown club. It was from watching Weller and lynex Worthington amongst others that did it for me. I am however going to somewhere I thought we would at least be this season ...Wembley to watch the locals in playoff. It would of been so easy to follow man u Liverpool Chelsea etc .But as I always say there’s something going on with citeh either relegation ,promotion change of manager administration to make it far more interesting than being a glory chasing robot who knows nothing about the club he watches on tele.

Well,

I was born in Paris, My dad was born in Rome and my Mum near Milan. So I suppose I could support PSG, AC Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio - most are glory clubs.

I grew up in leicester, i always supported leicester even when i lived in Essex where most supported west ham, had a season ticket for years, maintained it even when I moved to Luxembourg (travelling to home games is a pain in the ar5e).

Loyalty is important, through thick and thin, from when we yo-yoed between the old division 1 and 2 to the MON days to Now.

It's always leicester, it will always be leicester

I respect people who support their team, whether they are "surrey Manure" supporters or Essex Liverpool supporters whatever. provided they remain loyal.

Thats what it's about

Rant Over - i'll put me saop box away now

You're ****in mental basically.

I don't buy any of this, my dad supports them etc etc crap. When you support a football team you are supporting your City with a bunch of other people from your City, so i believe you should support your local team. Plus if you live miles away from your team's city you miss out on the local rivalry banter at work/college etc.

One of my friends said he supports Man Yoo because his dad supports QPR.

I was born into a family supporting Liverpool, i was taken to Filbert St by a family friend and that is when my affair with Leicester City started.....

I have a few mates who support Man Utd who do go and watch them play, then there is the one's who know jack about Football and support man utd because it is just cool..... these are the ones i hate, with a passion!!! :@

Fake football fans really annoy me!!!!

Then i should be a Northampton Town fan - not going to happen, Leicester through and through! But i always keep an eye on how they do. im ashamed to say i was a Florist fan for a mere 12 seconds, my dad (from Leicester) gave me the choice because we lived in Notts at the time, i had no idea about either clubs and when i said Florist he said "fine, but you wont be going to any games with me." so i said Leicester and when i went to see them play Luton i was hooked, i got my blue-tinted specs there and then. :scarf:

I have lived in Leicester all my life, therefore support Leicester,

My Dad was born near Islington, but moved to Leicester at a young age, but had been brought up as an Arsenal fan, so I do follow Arsenal, & do go 8 - 10 games a season down the Emirates.

It's a good job the criteria for supporting a football team isn't the location from where your parents got married, because there'd be a fookin lot of unhappy Gretna fans up and down the country right now.
