Podcast related - but the new EMR advert that's plastered all over the pods I listen to is so insanely patronising it's unreal.

"SMASH A HIGH TEA AT THE SHARD" "SHOP TILL YOU DROP ON OXFORD STREET." I tell you what'd lure me to take a train to London - the guarantee of on time trains and cheap fares. I'd focus on that than generic nonsense.

Also on pods but the latest Football Cliches pod was absolute guff. Rubbish MHD fascinations and irritations and the listeners voice notes were even more insufferable than usual. Think I listened to about half of it after skipping.

What a disappointment, having listened to it yet.

Listeners MHD are often shite filler with the voicenotes going on way longer than they should by listeners who love the sound of their own voice. Guest ones are mostly decent, adjudication panel is where it's at.

Train ticket prices.

Wife fancies the car on Saturday while I go away to the Banbury. Sixty eight quid to travel somewhere I can get to in just over an hour in the car for around twenty quid? Why do we even bother with rail services anymore? It's a nonsense.

To pay for the drivers' ever-increasing wages.

Gregg Wallace media mass hysteria. Is this really the biggest story in the UK? Nonsense.

I looked into getting the train to Southampton in Jan. With a taxi to and from the station, for 2 of us it was going to cost about £250 with a journey time of 6/7 hours.

In the car it's 3 1/2 hours and will cost about £30.

Not to mention that it'll be far less hassle in the car given we'll have luggage.

Apparently they met at a Hollywood restaurant. If you can find the clip it is a interesting and spooky recollection

Not a fan of Wallace and would gladly see him leave Masterchef but this is getting silly. The guy made a few dodgy jokes.

Wouldn't it affect you in anyway, if you were an alleged victim?

There is constant hassle for people to use public transport. But so many routes are stupidly priced, poorly timetabled or inconvenient and double the time.
