The delay does sound as if its somebody in work at the moment. I hope Daggers he's offered Ince 800,000 for the year! Though this is as likely as it not being Worthington.

Did Pearson work with Allardyce at Newcastle? Maybe he's waiting to see if Big Sam gets the Blackburn job and makes him his Assistant before accepting the City job if he doesn't.....
