Konta pulls out as close contact has covid

I do feel sorry for Konta though. Prepares as best she can under the circumstances and now has to miss the whole tournament for something out of her control.

Solid serving under pressure at times, shows he isn’t mentally weak. Very good for such a young player against the best. Really hits a good second serve

Draper in heroic five-set loss ala Barry Cowan-Sampras all those years ago.

Heard it here first.

Pretty straight forward second set for Djokovic, Draper will do very well to get to 5 now Djokovic has found his feet

Difference is that was Barry Cowans career highlight - Jack Is only just getting started. Easily our most promising men’s prospect since Andy Murray

He is showing a lot of promise here, going for the shots and that is positive to see.. Djokovic will inevitably win but good signs still

Yeah, that's probably right looking at it now.

He's certainly got the attitude for it - just a shame he fetched up against Novak first up here, might have given a lesser seed a mighty tussle.

It is a shame, needed a couple of matches here but I’m sure the experience will teach him a lot anyway.

Work on his return game and get a bit more big-match experience, and Draper will be back on Centre Court, I'm sure.

Vintage Djokovic from 2nd set onwards, very tough for anyone let alone a young player playing his first match at a slam. Draper will be a good watch, certainly not a passive player and likes to try to get on the front foot quick…

I know the other guy wants gone but Murray is playing some lovely stuff.

Not much better is their than summer evening tennis at Wimbledon

He really is! Thrilled for the guy. Last time I saw him at Wimbledon was that quarter final match where he hobbled his way off the court at the end. Amazing to think it's 4 years later and all he's been through to get back here.

7 games lost in a row

Basilashvili didn't even need to do anything special, just started making some returns and not spraying errors left and right and Murray got so tight he starting slicing off both sides.

Even after everything he has been through, it would be an absolutely historic loss if he doesn't pull this match out
