I suspect Pegula will complain about  the roof being closed.

Why do they suspend play when closing the roof? Unless it starts raining they can just carry on while it closes can't they?

My understanding is it’s not just about closing the roof, they also have to make sure the air conditioning has kicked in adequately so the playing conditions are right

Why dont they just close the roof at the start of the days play?  Rain was predicted.

They want an outdoor situation for as many matches as possible as much as humanly possible, so they consider the delay for closing the roof a suitable price to pay for that.
