And Raducanu also cannot stay fit, and she changes her coach more often than I change my socks.

Well yes but I cannot hardly complain about that one !

Tarquin and Elizabeth giving Azarenka a tougher time leaving the court than our Barmy Army Cricket fans give to to Australia in the Ashes.

Love this country lol

Didn’t realise the Quarter finals and semi finals for both were spread across 2 days now.

Yeah, that’s why they were always quite relaxed about the rain delays. And also why I chose to book last week off work rather than this!

Good to see Novak take the first set against who is effectively just a big server with not a lot else

Weird display from Hubert. Top quality serving, but he’s an overall better player than he demonstrated last night. You don’t get to be as high in the rankings these days with just a good serve.

Lots of criticism from the media about the BBC coverage being too biased and too much talking .

Even being blamed for the scheduling and late night matches .

Guess that is just part of the norm each year ?!

Berrettini at just long of 2/1 to beat Alcaraz might be a value bet today. Alcaraz is the better all round player, but Berrettini has made the final here before and has a damn good grass court pedigree - it usually takes one of the truly massive guns to put him out and while Alcaraz likely belongs in that company, I think he lacks enough experience that it's worth the tilt.

Talking as an Alcaraz fan, I am not happy about this match up at all! Carlos is far too reliant at the moment with being able to break back his opponents in the event of him having a poor game and losing his own serve - he won’t have that luxury with Matteo. I would far sooner he were playing Zverev.

Yeah, it's really not a good matchup on grass for him.

But it will be a good test to see if he really can be an all court champion now or in the future.

Possibly. I think Alcaraz is quite a bit off his level at the moment, with lots of uncharacteristic unforced errors.

Must say I think Berretini will win.

On the booing of Azarenka, that's just weapons grade ignorance on show.

Born in the wrong place? Your fault.

And it wasn't even her choice to not handshake with Svitolina!

Example 5369741180 of how misplaced nationalistic ignorance can be damaging.

Rybakina cruises through in 27 minutes due to a back injury for Haddad Maia who had to retire at 1-4.

Andreeva lost to Madison Keys, but it ended a sourly as Andreeva was serving to stay in the match in the 3rd set, slipped at the end of a point at 40-40, which made her racket swing downwards as she tried to keep her balance. But the umpire deemed her to have swung her racket at the floor, very harshly IMO, and she was penalised a point leading to an argument. It handed Keys match point which she took, and Andreeva walked off court after refusing to shake the umpires hand. Andreeva looks a fantastic prospect though at only 16.

Shame for the crowd that they have had 2 retirements. but guess that is the perils of sport.

Particularly for  Haddad Maia v Rybakina after a few games .

Looked a nasty one too .

Yes she could barely swing her racket at the end and was in tears.

It was a blatant throw.

Little cry baby she was.
