eaststandtom Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 £1.2M aint bad at all. barnsley???? is this some kind of sick joke!!????
RowlattsFox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 It's disappointing to see him go but not the end of the world. I don't think he's and out and out striker but he's not good enough to be in midfield either, he's somewhere inbetween. We COULD still have enough goals in us with Howard, Campbell and Fryatt next season, aslong as they improve on this seasons performances, and with the likes of Sappleton, Chambers etc getting the odd chance.
Asha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Goals are priceless. Absolutely. I feel like crying. Humey
blue blood Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 132 appearances 34 goals and a big heart, £1.2m is a good price! sad to see him go, this rebuilding is going all the way down tho the core - a full transplant. this season is going to be interesting. stearman to wolves and hume to barnsley seems to tell me milan and lee are playing hard ball with player that want to leave....playing for the best deal for the club...whic they should rightly do.
Corky Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Absolutely.I feel like crying. Humey Have no fear, the "best finisher at the club" is still with us
Brainy Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 I cant believe he chose Barnsley over Sheff Utd, Wolves and Preston.
Asha Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 fook the business if it's not even on players. We've just sold probably our two best players. This is wank.
Milky Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 You'd have thought he'd be sick of relegation battles by now.
Master Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Brilliant, absolutely brillaint. Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio
blue blood Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 I cant believe he chose Barnsley over Sheff Utd, Wolves and Preston. i get the feeling he didnt choose baarnsleh more baarnslegh choose him by putting the most money on the table. same with the stearman deal.
hackneyfox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 1.2 million is good business i reckon. I can't believe how people are weeping and wailing over these players leaving. THEY RELEGATED US! Besides we all spent most of last season complaining about the size of the squad, what do people want, for NFP to sign 10 new players and then not to be able to dump any of ethe excess excrement leaving us with another huge squad and a massive salary bill? It was always going to be the better known players who would leave first, there is still plenty of time to dump Henderson, Kisnorbo, Clemence, Oakley, Fryatt, Howard, DJ, Stapleton etc. I'm loving it
Ryanside Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 when you see the players who ran themselves into the ground at hte end of last season leave, it really does hit home the real mess we are in
Ric Flair Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Brilliant, absolutely brillaint.Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio Out of all those images you've posted I still find myself drawn to the signature. Hume who? Coont.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 There's a lot of panicking at the moment 'cus Rodney and Hume have gone. Yes, they have been some (the only!) of the good players we've had over the last couple of years, but for f ucks sake, we don't want players that don't want to be here. What is the point in keeping an unhappy player? We really need a good clear out so let the fukcers go. Cheers for all your efforts Humey, but Barnsley !!!!!
Master Fox Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 C'mon everyone, ONE LAST TIME.... HUMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Huuuuuume If Mandaric and Hoos are to be believed, Hume wanted out. If so, bollocks to him after what he said when we went down. If they are lying, it explains his departure to Barnsley of all places as the club obviously wanted shot of him and he had no choice but to join the shit arses.
Flexx Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 2.8Million for these two is a good bit of business. People moan now, but during the whole of last season people were always had something to say about them. I have faith in Pearson to sign some good replacements for these 2. Im not too unhappy about these sales tbh, as long as we keep Mattock. Will never forget Hume for some good memories, Stearman I can't think of as many. But 2.8Million can go a long way in League1. Chin up people.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 Somethings not right about this deal. Yeah, sounds a bit overpriced
Dr The Singh Posted 25 June 2008 Posted 25 June 2008 C'mon everyone, ONE LAST TIME.... HUMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
