lookwhaticando Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Sounded a little hectic towards the end, no?
Guest Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Not our day I guess. Bad luck, sounded like an entertaining game. Working on finishing at the training ground this week me thinks. Still, a point's a point.
City_4_Life Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 0-0 Its a point away from home, and another clean sheet. Maybe we should of won though with the chances we had in the second half.

MC Prussian Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Slightly frustrated. Lots of opportunities. All wasted. Meh.
Scaramanga! Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Need a striker that can finish. Bring back Sappzilla!
Mark Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 It's quite evident after 3 games the striking problem still hasn't been addressed. It doesn't matter what division you're in, if you don't start scoring goals you're not going to get anywhere. I suppose a point will do for a first away match, nice to see we dominated it just a shame we couldn't finish a few chances off.
Monk Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Win your home games draw your away games = win the league by miles. We're still on track though as Matt said in Live Chat we still aren't prolific enough up front.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Nevermind. Lets get 3 points against Tranmere.
Stevosevic Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Same story as last year? It is of course still the same strikers, especially when Dickov is used on the wing, such a waste.
FleckneyFox Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 I predicted a draw, a little dissapointed but its first away game of the season, we kept a clean sheet and Leeds lost! So its not too bad.
Guest shearfox Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 I'm a bit frustrated with the point to be honest, rarely looked troubled throughout the match it was pretty much all Leicester in the second half, we should have comfortably won that one.
Flynny Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 From how that sounded I'd be hesitant to criticise too much. Last year we were trying desperately to play solid football and not get dicked on (and failing). This season we need to learn how to do the opposite, to play against teams playing spoiling tactics and tear them open. It's not going to happen overnight but so long as we begin to accomplish this within the next few weeks and make our superior skill show I'm quite happy.
Bryn Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Like I said in the prematch thread, it's our toughest game this month. A draw with a good performance is decent enough. I think we'll go on to beat Tranmere and Cheltenham and we'll be sitting pretty. Have faith guys.
BlabyFox Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 i knew this would happen. beat them in cup which i couldn't care less about then only draw in the league. damn
Nod.E Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Win your home games draw your away games = win the league by miles. We're still on track though as Matt said in Live Chat we still aren't prolific enough up front. We're three games in. And we've scored 3 which isn't good enough, I know. But it isn't terrible. And we're only 3 games in. Jesus Christ.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 All over them like a horny teenager and yet like a horny teenager we didn't score
BlabyFox Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 HA HA HUME WAS RED CARDED FOR BARNSLY
Phube Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Still no 2 games in a row... But no goals against!! Only 2 crosses ALL game But we're 3rd Too many wasted chances Didn't give away silly goal
Nod.E Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Still no 2 games in a row... But no goals against!! Only 2 crosses ALL game But we're 3rd Too many wasted chances Didn't give away silly goal Mixed emotions indeed.
samuel Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 HA HA HUME WAS RED CARDED FOR BARNSLY   Petulant little man. He suffers from small man syndrome. And How did Tony Thorpe get that cockney twang coming from Braunstone?.....
teblin Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Another clean sheet, petty we didn't finish it off, but a decent start to the season.
