Bus drivers think they own the road. He should be locked up, imagine one of his passengers needed to get some medicine and he keeps them held up like that. Sack him and jail him for attempted murder.

Bus drivers are the ISIS of motorists.

This bus driver deserves to be sacked, he ignored the road signs and went through when he saw another car coming and then refused to back up and then had the audacity to sit there reading the paper for an hour. Proper **** territory.

Completely wouldn't condone that at all and most of all it's actually just really stupid but hey ho.

 

I'm a man who lives in a commuter town in Hertfordshire, has never grown a beard through any reason other than laziness, can't fit in skinny jeans, who rides a touring bike and wears lycra. And I don't like coffee. I'm not sure I'm in any way hipster lol Now middle class ponce, I can't argue against that.

I don't agree with it as I believe freedom of speech is sacrosanct but this odious turd really does need teaching a lesson.

Looking forward to seeing how the Hope not Hate style "non white people can't be racist" defence will stand up in a court of law. The real shame of this story is the fact the students of the Uni didn't see fit to remove her from her position.

I'm confused though, where are all the regular posters clamouring to ignore the real issue so they can condemn labour councils and tell us that this sort of thing would never have happened under a Conservative one?

I can't defend it, the procedure here was completely wrong, but at least the parents have a chance of getting their child back in their care. It's not really comparable to the thousands of cases of children who got sexually abused and have to live those scars for the rest of their life while councillors turned a blind eye though, is it?

No, but you can't defend using it as a stick to beat every left-leaning person with is more what I was getting at, just like nobody's making blanket statements about Tories over this.  I didn't appreciate people talking as though every left-of-centre person was suddenly a child molestation enabler.  I won't do the same discourtesy of calling all right-leaners child snatchers because that's silly.

 

If the law doesn't get changed to prevent something like this from reoccurring then something (else) is severely wrong with our current Tory government though.

You have a point, and we're definitely right, blanket statements don't help. Not every Labour supporter is now some raving Marxist, and not every Tory supporter is some Fascist Capitalist. That said, I still disagree with the comparison. What happened in Rotherham was deep seeded and horrific. Something was rotten to the core there. The case with adoption has highlighted a huge flaw in the system which, I'm sure we can all agree, needs to be rectified.  

 

EDIT: I've put a strike through that to ignore it. We don't need to go down that route of pointing fingers, it's been done to death. everyone's got their own views on it etc. The last sentence is what matters, hopefully something is done to prevent any of it happening again, and hopefully these parents will get their child back if the new evidence is correct
