The Post Office doesn't deliver the post that would be Royal Mail, different company.

I didn't say it was, I said I used the Post Office to have something delivered about ten years ago and it was a shambles.

Ten years ago?

10 years ago Royal Mail would still have been responsible for your post and we were being screwed by the Labour Government, then the Liberals really screwed up postal services and the Post Office and the current government want the problems to go away.Billions of pounds of taxpayers money wasted, innocent people sent to prison and costly class actions looming. "A poorly run organisation whose management should be sacked" and that is quoting  Andrew Bridgen, Now wouldn't a Post Bank have been a better choice that project Merlin and around another £400 billion given to your banking buddies.

Nice to the see the threat of enforcing the contract now being used some way to negotiate..

Only a Conservative would compare the work of a Dr to a retail business, as for negotiations with this government you are having a laugh, look at their workload and responsibility expected of them.Perhaps if you can afford private medical care you are not worried about the NHS but the country is not in a mess due to the greed of NHS staff, Police,Fire Brigade,Teachers, Council workers etc is it.

I run a Post Office so happy for you to explain the  caring side of this government lol

Good post, but I don't see the relevance between the Doctor's issue and the running of a post office.

The financial problems were entirely down to a Labour government, who borrowed money we could not pay back without drastic cuts, which are now HAVING to be made. It is through necessity and not choice, that this is happening.

Yes, it isn't nice, I know.

Utter cvnts. And people don't seem to care. Surely we can do more to try and protect these places.

Agreed. Didn't the Taliban do this to a bunch of famous Buddhist and Hindu sites as well?

At least some people are starting to do something about IS now, they have been doing this with no response since about 2011.

Stuff like this though, what actually can we do? We have no ground troops in to protect these sites and you can't really defend it from the air.

Worth mentioning as well that 40% of Junior Doctors have gone to work today according to the BBC, so despite the huge vote to strike, nowhere as many appear to have carried out the threat.

Erm, we were providing emergency care, how many doctors do you think provide this? Probably 30 to 40 percent of us at a time.

You know full well we're not asking for more money as this situation has been well described to you. "More money all of a sudden", blimey. You really haven't got a handle on the situation at all.

I've already made my arguments to you, go read them again. Thankfully the Great British public haven't swallowed the Tory script the same way you have.

There are sites in Kosovo still protected by troops. Obviously the situation in the ME is particular but surely we can muster an international force to try at least to protect places like this.

Absolute cvnts, that Labour government, eh? I just hate the way their borrowing caused a financial crisis in the UK, the USA, throughout Europe, indeed throughout the world. Most powerful and evil govt of all time, I'd say.

Oh, no. I've got that wrong, haven't I? The Labour government was only in power in the UK. There was a global financial crisis that affected every other country worldwide, but not the UK as the UK was immune. In the UK, coincidentally and simultaneously a Labour government took power and borrowed loads of money, causing a crisis that just happened to have the same effects as the global financial crisis affecting everyone else. Socialist cvnts just handed money out to Muslims and dole scroungers, I heard.

I had no idea we still needed protection for that sort of thing in Kosovo.

If an area is under the control of the Islamic State I don't see what we can do, it would be impossible to get troops inside of that to protect places without having or starting to engage in a ground war with them, unfortunately this culutral genocide is something we can't stop, their crimes against history are almost as bad as the crimes against humanity.

If you're interested at all then look for 'Visoki Decani' monastery. One of the most beautiful places I've seen, I was there over Christmas and it's still protected by KFOR troops, Austrian lads who look about 12. I had to leave my passport at the entrance of the monastery. Even with the presence there, there have still been incidents of vandalism including 'The Caliphate is Coming' spray painted on the walls.

That's just horrific, I didn't realise the tensions were still that bad in the Balkans.

In the Balkans in general they are not. In Bosnia, Kosovo and parts of Macedonia things are still very bad. Partly because of failings of the 90s peace plans.

Our financial problems were caused by the BANKS. Why do people like you find this so difficult to understand?

Would I be right in thinking that should there be another recession in the near future you won't be making the same excuses for the Tories?

Not seen you on here for a while but for the 10th time, I agree, the banking crisis would have been tough for any government, however going into that crisis how do you explain the Labour government still borrowing money to pay for public services despite being in it's 16th consecutive year of growth?

It will be Labour's fault.

I'm not one to judge, I don't see things in black and white, I believe in fairness.

What goes through the head of such people? I honestly don't get the mentality. Is it to do with the idea that they actually think killing and destruction in the name of a supreme being will actually bring about its favour in the afterlife? Or is it something else?

Embarrassment to the country in general. Unfortunately football clubs all around Europe have cvnts like this following them and smashing up foreign cities. Chelsea seem to attract a lot.
