I would suggest that most DM readers are Tory followers.

 

They would most likely have voted Conservative, so your comment doesn't really add up. Unless you're suggesting that the previous Gov is responsible for our current problems, in which case I agree.

I agree, in these types of crimes.

 

Unfortunately, we are notorious for being way too lenient on criminals in this country.

We're really not. We have some of the harshest sentencing in Europe. Sentences have been getting ever longer and the prison population has grown to fill all available space.

It did but the sad thing is we all knew what would likely happen with a soft sentence because thats all we can give. He will be paroled on time (or even earlier if he is a model citizen and prisons are crowded, wouldnt put it past the system).

 

One could argue 25 years is enough punishment but I dont agree with it at all.  25 years for each victim, served back to back is needed. Man should never see the light of day again.

 

At times like this, the parent in me wants this dude to be taken out back and fed to the polar bears.

Reform took control of at local elections in May, is set to vote on Tuesday on a proposal to introduce a 100 per cent council tax premium on second homes from April 2027.

We should not be letting these communists in. What will happen when our dearly valued second homeowners leave the country because of this communist tax? Farage is a dangerous left wing lunatic nutjob communist.

I worked 247 hours a week for 45 years to earn that second home!

I don't know why there isn't some form of negligence prosecution for those responsible, if i make a mistake at work that results in a customer, injured or killed, i'm going to prison
