Fryatt to Rams?

The reason why many (myself included) still doubt Fryatt despite his goalscoring this season is not because he had one bad season in the Championship, but two! And the guy WAS for the majority of the time played in his proper position. Now I'm not going to say he's not good enough for the Championshio full stop, but he will need to up his game if he is to establish himself at that level.

EDIT: Could someone clarify how many goals he did score during those two seasons? I believe it was 5.

Fair enough, but there are some fans that doubt his ability and question his position in the team at this level! Ok, he misses chances, but he's averaging a goal about every 1.5 games, with no other fooker scoring for us at any decent rate bar Dyer. Moronic to the bone.

Absolutely bang on.

Some people just won't have it and yet half the stadium chant his name like he is a hero.

Confuses me at times.

Hope he dosent come on here and read the absolute crap thats written about him,I wouldnt be interested in signing a new contract if i read this sh it,i'd be thinking "what the fu ck have i got to do?"

Fryatts found his level, again. He was decent at this level for Walsall and thats why we took a chance on him. Stick him in the Championship and he's above his head. Keep him till the end of the season and see where we are then, if promoted replace him...

I dont buy into all this chanting his name tho, Howard makes a mistake and everyone is straight on his back, Fryatt makes one and no one says a word, instead you get people chanting his name.... Does my tree in!!

How can everyone say he has found his level. More like he has found his confidence.

Wasn't Howard once prolific in this league? Why isn't he the 2nd top goalscorer in this league?

It's exactly the same for Fryatt, So i don't know where your getting that from.

Howard missed a couple of sitters in a home game not long ago cant remember which :S (the header and the one right at the end of the game from inside the six yard box) but there was no mention of poor finishing in the post match thread at all. It always crops up about Fryatt though.

I'm not saying i like either better but most seem to be in one camp or the other why not both?

Even if he leaves on a Bosman, we'll get a fee for him. With his goals tally already at 14, he's only going to score more, so we'd at least get our money back on him, if he decides to leave.

The diffrence is at 3-0 up and missed a sitter isnt as bad as being a lazy Sh1t who in my eyes is just as bad as Junior Lewis...yes thats right folks i compared him to the Donkey lol people get on at howard as he should be the one on 14 goals this season yet looks like he wont even get that all season.When were used to having Hume being a nuisence & full of energy up front and have to watch his effortless performances its no wonder the fans want more from him and rightly so.

Blackburn have Pederson & Warnock so I doubt they'd be willing to pay too much for Mattock and Dyer, as for Forest who knows

Err guys, think of it this way.

sign him up on a short to medium contract ASAP. let him play (and hopefully keep banging them away) and get us out of this division. If he gtes 20+ goals his price will go up, he'll be on contract so we can sell him for a reasonable sum at the end of the season or next season.

Football is a business as well and if he does get that number of goals then we will have much more bargaining power come May/June. Keep him, but keep him atrctive and pricey to potential buyers

I know was just suggestions, the might not have even been their to watch them could be others.

Morrison, Tunchev, King, Gradel, Adams (although the last 2 didn't play could be options)

Well i wouldn't call the shaggers a bigger club. if he goes in January he may possibly be back where we are now and we could possibly be up there. I don't think he's completley stupid.

He could quite possibly see us as being the better option. I did also say short to medium. A year or two should do it.

Of course if he wants to go then thats out of our hands, but i don't think pushing him in January is a smart move on our behalf.

I said to my mate I thought it looked like Mattock was trying to impress someone tonight.

Looked like he was interested again.

And if Fryatt or anyone else was to go to Forest I would laugh for weeks, no months.

Fastest ticket back into league 1 going imo.
