Webbo Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 This no longer has anything to do with anyone's daughter or grand-daughter. Tell that to Andrew Sachs. I seem to remember that you were a bit more sensitive when people were making sexual slurs against you. Russel Brand has always been an unfunny ****. If the BBC need to employ someone who talks shit and looks like he needs a good bath they could employ Bernie, he'd be a lot cheaper, funnier and he has more class. It's about a tawdry little tabloid (a sister paper to the Mockery) with a grudge against the beeb seeking to launch a witch-hunt against two entertainers it doesn't like.If that tabloid had its way, all women would be confined to the home, and those who dared to voice dissent would be put in gas chambers. The frightening thing is you probably believe that.
Floating Fox Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 The whole story is laughable. How anyone can get worked up about this is beyond me!
Durnerz Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 It was out of order, I would have had more respect for them had they done it to Sach's personally instead of cowardly leaving the messages on his answerphone. It has been blown massively out of proportion and its not exactly unexpected when it comes to Ross and Brands track records of offensive humour but at least its all resolved now on the personal side.

The frightening thing is you probably believe that. I have to disagree with you there... And why has every person who doesn't like Russel Brand resorted to swearing? In particular using ****, don't you know any other words? I think a lot of people judge him on his appearance, and are jealous of his obvious lofty intelligence and shag history. You have two choices, either take the time to appreciate his work; or watch 'you rang m'lord' like the wholesome dullard you are. If you guys were around in the early 20th century I'm sure you would've complained about D.H Lawrence in much the same vein, that is, if any of you would be prudes have ever actually read a book. Daft xenophobes.
Suffolk_fox Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Russell Brand has resigned from his BBC Radio 2 show in the wake of his suspension (Source: 5Live)

Daft xenophobes. I do apologise I forgot how sensitive Russel Brand fans are about crude language. I have watched Mr Brand on TV and found him embarrassingly unfunny as for lofty intelligence I'll have to take your word on that. You'll also be glad to know that I've read several books and if I could suggest one to you it would be the dictionary so that you could look up the meaning of xenophobia.

It would also tend to make me look past your argument. Onto 'xenophobia', it's restricted to foreigners is it? I assume this is what you're getting at? I suggest you look again and consider that I used this word in reference to what I consider the G-star wearers opinion of a gangly, drainpiped, luscious locked comedy campster.
Webbo Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Dictionary xen⋅o⋅pho⋅bi⋅aan unreasonable fear or hatred of foreigners or strangers or of that which is foreign or strange No, sorry I think you're wrong. PS I'm 43 and I don't own a single stitch of G-Star clothing.
poynton blue Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 I would strongly advise anyone contemplating phoning this number not to as I believe it is the very same number as Poyton Blue's parents. Daggers you fooking twat Grow up and stop w*nking and maybe one day you will be a father, and you will have a different view run along little boy you cnut
filbertway Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Gawd bless Russel. I've not heard what he said but can it be so bad that the national media is involved?
Koke Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 This whole hysteria is laughable to say the least. Brand is a but of knobhead anyway, and Ross should have known better. But this has been blown completely out of proportion.
Finchy Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 fooking hell Russell Brand has quit Radio 2 now!!! So pissed off, his Podcast is absolutely amazing and now it's finished because of some twats that need to lighten up.
purpleronnie Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 All because 20,000 people who never listened to his show are suddenly offended. Well done to the media. Morons.
Milky Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 His new TV show on Channel 4 starts Thursday night. Go toss off to that.

Finchy Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 His new TV show on Channel 4 starts Thursday night. Go toss off to that. **** off mate. That radio show was by far the funniest show on the Radio.
purpleronnie Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 Some people like him some people dont. The people who dont like him are so biased its untrue how about opening your minds. The point is only 2 complaints when the showed aired now after the media got hold of it 20,000 idiots choose to be offended.

Samilktray Posted 29 October 2008 Posted 29 October 2008 I hope he doesnt apologize for this. Its a pissing farce, and It's not often I get involved with this sort of malarky.

Makes no sense.
