Nod.E Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 what a win, thanks to andy king!!! Come on!!!We are top of the league i say we are top of the league!! 2 home games in a row next hopefully increase our lead at the top. Dont change this winning team, give DJ the start against Crewe. Sorry, but I really sniggered and cringed when I read that. a) Knee jerk. We win and you make these kind of comments, we then lose and you are super negative. b) It wasn'texactly thanks to Andy King. A good finish, i'll give you that. But before that I only remember him giving the ball away. c) Yes we should change the team. Okay, so you could argue we just beat top of the league away from home. But look at how we played in the final third. There was no-one to knock it on. It just didn't really work - luckily our midfielders were hungry for goals. DJ is arguably the better player of Howard and himself - but he isn't the target man we need, plus, obviously - offside. We never make it easy for ourselves. Well done Andy King. Well done Andy King? Why not well done Henderson for his brilliant save? That was an individual moment in time as this was - a brilliant save too. Infact Henderson was good all game. Distribution and communication was top drawer, as well as his good save. On the other hand King scored a good goal and was pretty bad for 90 minutes. I'm not saying he shouldn't be in the team - he should. I just don't think it's fair to credit the game to him, the majority of players today were better than him, that's all. Just about to make that point myself. The goal saved his performance. I thought his passing was off-mark for the majority of the day and at key points in the game he wasn't to be seen. Berner seemed to do a lot of covering for King, incidentally I thought Berner had his best game in a Leicester shirt today. Got stuck in and his passing was simple and effective. DJ was offside a painful amount of times but he hassled well throughout the game and had a couple of chances. None of the front pairing were that effective today though. Hanging on to that lead will be a massive boost for us after what has happened in recent games, lets carry this form on right through the Christmas period. Yes, exactly. Why dont you just fook off?Have you nothing better to do? You obviouslt thibk were the biggest threat this season. As smarmy and annoying as he is, he raises a good point. Dangerous all game long, he was S****horpe's biggest threat no doubt. Worth a closer look I'd say. Yeah, I agree. I never really felt threatened when they had the ball, but I expected things to happen when he was on the ball. He's so well endowed that the rest of his body IS onsideIts just his'manhood' that is off side...# Allegedly!! His manhood must be huge. He was yards off. Although sometimes I could have swore he came from behind the defender! To put a cap on it; We're top. Howard has a vital role to play in how we play. King didn't play well, let's not over-hype him for scoring a goal. It was a good goal, and he's an integral part of our team, but other players deserve credit today. I.e. Berner as some posters have already stated, he was brilliant today. Atmosphere was brilliant. We won, with only 11 players to their 13. A good day, but my ball got popped by a taxi, and it didn't snow.
iancognito Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 It may be an Andy King love in but the reporter for F365 is obviously on an Emmerdale love-in. http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8...4536115,00.html Leicester are the new League One leaders after beating S****horpe 2-1, while MK Dons have climbed into second after a 3-0 win at Walsall. In the top-of-the-table clash at Glanford Park, Matthew King raced through the S****horpe defence with nine minutes left to place the ball past Paul Henderson to seal the win which moves the visitors one point clear at the top. The visitors went ahead minutes after 22 when striker Lloyd Dyer latched on to a Matt Fryatt through ball and slotted past Henderson. The hosts hit back with a low drive from Paul Hayes 10 minutes later but the travelling fans went home the happier thanks to King's late finish.
hewittinspain Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Leicester don't want to come 2nd to anyone! Especially Leeds! <_< You talk as if Leeds are some wonderful club, the fact is you are below us because we have performed better than any other club until this point in the season, which at present is the best indication of how things will end up in May. We however have won fu ck all at present, just like the rest of the 92 league clubs. Nothing has ever been or will be decided in November, but Leicester have certainly proved they can deal with League 1 opposition as they have only lost 2 games and have a very good defensive record far and away better than any other side in the division. Trust me! We have not even started to play like the side could. I don't like LCFC very much at the moment, I am very down on them, but as bad as we are we are STILL better than the awful clubs in this division. We have thrown away points, and given 2 victories to Millwall and Brighton. We will be the architects of our own down fall not Leeds, surely you big boys have bigger fish to fry? Man U fans not listening or are you fed up with the jip you get? I think defensively you are better than Leeds but the goal difference between the two clubs are a lot closer than before. Around mid sep Leeds were on +3 and Leicester were into double figures but look how much we have caught up. that is because we have scored more goals than you. You have big expectations which will be your biggest downfall over the whole season. Ive seen many teams crumble when they have been so far ahead of everyone else in the league. Wolves are far from safe yet despite being a country mile ahead of the rest of the pack. How can you say you have performed better than anyone else?Because you are 1 point ahead? You are hardly crushing teams 3-4 nil are you each week.!! You say you can deal with league one opposition. Of course you can. 15-16 teams in this division are p1ss poor. Thats hardly rocket science is it?
Nod.E Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 fook off u **** im not kneejerk at all knee jerk is generous. Think yourself lucky.

Thats hardly rocket science is it? Yes, you are good upfront. I agree with that. And we can say that we have performed better than everyone else because we have got more points than every body else. That's how it works. That's why the team that finish top win the title. And beating teams 3-4 nil doesn't define a good team. If you beat everyone 1-0 you'd break records! Furthermore, did Chelsea need to win more than 1-0 under Jose? No. And no, but we have beat 2nd and 3rd place, too.
syston_fox Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Question for you.Did you win comfortably today? Did you dominate posession, have the better run of the green.? Are you happy taking your performance of late into the next say 5 games? Yes we did win comfortably I feel. We didn't have the most possession but we scored 2 and their keeper made three good saves to deny us any further goals. Did we have the rub of the green? Not really - I thought the referee was poor today and arguably there was a foul in the build up to their goal so it shouldn't have stood. Very happy with the performance today!
maddog Posted 22 November 2008 Author Posted 22 November 2008 knee jerk is generous. Think yourself lucky. when was i super negative shut up barry hayles. What was wrong with my comments We are top of the league fact. I think DJ should start next game fact. We won thanks to Andy King's goal fact. We have 2 games in a row next and i hope we can increase our lead at the top fact. Its all fact. but your comments are all opinion.
MPH Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 I have to say - Pearson sends me to sleep when I listen to him on the radio.Couldn't we employ an out of work comedian to do the press interviews? we did, but he got us relegated.

No we are not 'crushing' teams 3 or 4 nil, but we are beating them, which at the end of the day is what counts.

Daggers Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 fook off u **** im not kneejerk at all knee jerk n. A reflex contraction of the quadriceps muscle resulting in a sudden involuntary extension of the leg, produced by a sharp tap to the tendon below the patella; patellar reflex. maddog on FoxesTalk Seems pretty conclusive to me

hewittinspain Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Ok here's the deal. I will prove to you that Leeds have now hit some great form over this crucial period. We play Northampton away on Tuesday. If Leeds don't win by 'at least' 2 goals then I will fully admit that Leicester are better than Leeds and we are not good enough this season to go up. I know we are only talking Northampton but Oldham only beat them 1-0 last week. Beckford and Becchio have hit some amazing form recently and will be a massive threat to them. I know we are in the right frame of mind to beat teams comfortably now and I really think we will crush them again on Tuesday.

Corky Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 How can you say you have performed better than anyone else?Because you are 1 point ahead? You are hardly crushing teams 3-4 nil are you each week.!! Yes, that is the point of a league table. We have 35 points, no-one else in this division has more, or even the same amount. Oh sorry, I didn't realise you had to score 3 or 4 goals to win a match, I assumed you had to score more than the opposition. Silly me for celebrating when the final whistle went.
Nod.E Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 when was i super negativeThe last time we lost shut up barry hayles. As confusing as it may seem. In actual fact - I am not Barry Hayles. 'FACT.' What was wrong with my comments They were bad? We are top of the league fact. I know we are? I think DJ should start next game fact. Your opinion is a bad one. We won thanks to Andy King's goal fact. Well done. I did kind of acknowledge that previously. I never denied that. We have 2 games in a row next and i hope we can increase our lead at the top fact. Shocking. Revolutionary. Amazing. Its all fact. No, it's common sense. but your comments are all opinion. Opinions that are backed up with evidence that I believe to be relative to the point. Sorry? Oh, and. Try To Talk In A Less Stacato Fashion Please.
hewittinspain Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 What's your scoreline prediction then between Northampton v Leeds on tue? I will guarantee 2 goals difference at least in favour to us otherwise I will take back everything I ever said and pubically apologise to you all for thinking Leeds were a better team. Ok!!

Tilley Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 Trains = joke. 3 points thankyou very much. I love DJ. & EmLee
Nod.E Posted 22 November 2008 Posted 22 November 2008 What the fook are you twittering on about? And why? The league table suggests we're the best team in the league. He doesn't like it. He's trying to suggest otherwise through words - it's proving hard work.
