Pubs on Cathedral Road are good and not too far to the stadium. See the other post Voll Blau did. Owain Glyndwr and Traders Tavern too in City Centre. Looking for great beer, but less crowded, try Flute and Tankard.

My daughter is going to Wireless festival today to see some geezer called Drake

 

Shes nearly 17 and im abit scared but they have to grow up eh!

Bit of a long shot, but is anyone going Heaton Park 19th July and want two front standing tickets in exchange for 2 GA tickets? 

Didn't realise front standing was gonna be so cornered off and I've been split up from the people I'm going with.

Meant to put this up a couple of weeks ago but went to see Texas at Lincoln Castle.  Wasn't sure what to expect but was absolutely blown away by how good they were! Decent venue for gigs as well

It's just been announced that tomorrow's gig has been cancelled due to Jeff Lynne's illness.

 

Really gutted but hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Yep, we are in London, gutted too but just sat outside in Hyde Park and listened to Stevie Wonder, at 75 he still has the magic.

Neil Young in Paris yesterday was superb

my only regret is that he didn't play my favorite song "after the gold rush"
