acooling08 Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 In the episode where Santa's Little Helper gets into the vents: Super Intendant Chalmers: Skinner, your fired! Principal Skinner: Did you just call me a liar? Super Intendant Chalmers: No, I said you are fired. Principal Skinner: Oh... That's much worse. [Hiccups]
SystonFox Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 the episode where homer sets up his "internet" business and is reading a book "the internet for dummies" and comes out with the line; Oh they have internet on computers now eh?!! classic leaves me in stitches every time, along with many other moments. its true the newer episodes are poor as they run out of ideas and rely on celebrity voiceovers to carry the episode, the movie however was really good imo.

Libertine Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Is that the same episode where the 'Press ANY Key' line comes up? Nope.
Ross-Kemp Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Ahhhhhhhhh, so many laughs to be had. The one that gets me is where Homer is Burns 'prank monkey'
GLC Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Skinner: You Scots sure are feisty people.Willy: You just made an enemy for life!

It's still a catchy name: CompuGlobalHyperMegaNet! "Vice President Homer... No... Jnr. Vice President Homer Simpson speaking!!"

isaidno Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Alone Again, Natura-Diddly , Where Maude Flanders dies Suddenly, a car veers off the track, crashes hear them, and catches fire. The driver climbs out from under his upside-down car. Babcock: Sorry to break up your picnic, folks. I'm two-time Fast Car champ Clay Babcock. Marge: [pointing to some flames on Babcock's racing suit] You're on fire! Babcock: Yeah, I have won a lot of races, but it's all thanks to my crew, really. [puts out the flames on his suit] and another cracker Homer: Oh, wake up, Ned. You think Maude isn't dating in Heaven? Ned: You think she would? Homer: How could she not? The place is full of eligible bachelors. John Wayne, Tupac Shakur, Sherlock Holmes ... Ned: [chuckles] Sherlock Holmes is a character. Homer: He sure is. [wolf growl]
The Doctor Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 personally i like the part in the disability episode where he wanders round a construction site going "must hurt self, must hurt self" sees things falling and runs to try and get hit by them so ends up dodging everything then a guy get crushed by a wheelbarrow of cinder blocks and homer just goes "probably better that didn't hit me" rather than showing any concern for the guy.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 20 August 2009 Posted 20 August 2009 In the Pieman episode when Bart, Lisa and Homer are in the Kitchen Homer - Someone needs to take comic book guy down a peg, or should I say pie... Lisa - I think the correct term is peg Homer - Maybe you're right Lisa, maybe you're pie, may pie be your pie, mhmmmmm pie... and in the same episode. Homer - I'm not your father, the Pieman, er, killed your father! Lisa - No he didn't we've been getting his mail for weeks (shows a bill addressed to 'the Pieman') Homer - We'll continue this conversation in the Pie-cave (takes Lisa to the basement)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 "They like Itchy, they like Scratchy, one kid seems to love the Speedo man"

The Doctor Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 "N-O""Ven-ting pree-vents ex-plo-zee-on". vents into a corn field, kills the crop and the farmer then goes "aw no the corn, Paul Newmans gunna have me legs broke" "what are you doing down there?" "washing my fat guy cap"
isaidno Posted 18 April 2013 Posted 18 April 2013 From an episode I watched the other night " I have 3 kids and no money , why can't I have no kids and free money " homer Simpson
acooling08 Posted 18 April 2013 Posted 18 April 2013 Just watched the episode on Sky where Homer becomes a boxer. Ahh, back when it was funny.
RonnieTodger Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 My favourite quote is when Moe is in love with Marge and thinks he is better suited to her than Homer. He says to Homer "I bet you don't even know her favourite food!" - Homer: "Ice?"
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Hahahaha! "Local Man Ruins Everything", I love that bit. "Dog Kills Cat, Self" also another very funny gag that's easy to miss. Homer's University application photo. Everything about this visual gag is quality, and makes me laugh every time. Hence it being my avatar. The red-eye (also slightly wall-eyed), the fact that Homer is fully aware he's having his photo taken but still tackles the cake in such a manner, the birthday hat tilted at that angle. It's brilliant! One of my favourite scenes: http://youtu.be/r84d-msuyp0 (Awful quality, but "Just eat the damn orange" is a classic) http://youtu.be/9UQUzP3Mkpw "I think I'm blind." http://youtu.be/sW97fs-a_Hs Best episode ever. Someone has sped this video up, but www.wtso.net has it, and every other episode Also can't find the clip, but Homer forcing the door open to escape the lift with his co-worker Mindy and subsequently sliding down the cooling tower screaming "See you tomorrow!" is another moment. Also: "Mouldy? Old?!!.... I'm gonna get something to eat!!"
AdamN Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Shit quality but one of my favourite clips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SorBWowWab4
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Shit quality but one of my favourite clips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SorBWowWab4 Totally forgot about that. I love the detail once the sandwich is at is mouldiest, brilliant
AdamN Posted 19 April 2013 Posted 19 April 2013 Totally forgot about that. I love the detail once the sandwich is at is mouldiest, brilliant I just love the gags that you don't fully appreciate the first, second, third times round. Wtf was it doing behind the radiator?!
