purpleronnie Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I can't believe I'll be watching Ade again, its weird.
StanSP Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I can't believe I'll be watching Ade again, its weird. We're not even that sorry
Edmund Posted 31 March 2009 Author Posted 31 March 2009 I can't believe I'll be watching Ade again, its weird. I take it you go and watch the dynamo? He will be your leading star.
purpleronnie Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I take it you go and watch the dynamo? He will be your leading star. That wouldn't take much though.
Edmund Posted 31 March 2009 Author Posted 31 March 2009 Thank fook he can't score past us next season True, he has made a habit of this.
BoneDog Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 I remember when we signed him, pre-season I was tellin my mate who's a Liverpool fan that Ade was gonna get about 20 goals that season in the Prem. I was so excited
ozleicester Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Thank fook he can't score past us next season Actually i have heard that, If by some freak City meltdown, we fail to get promoted... we will be applying to join the MLS.
Sir Fynwy Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 I can't believe I'll be watching Ade again, its weird. It's almost as strange as me seeing Steve Corica in a J-league game (he didn't make it off the bench in the end).
Matt Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 Not sure how true this is, I was just talking to someone on Saturday and somehow the conversation got onto Akinbadbiyi and Peter "Twat" Taylor, According to him a year after us signing Akinbadbiyi Wolves offer a million less than we payed for him to get him back, but Peter "Twat" Taylor refused to accept the offer because of the fact it was a million less than what we had paid. If true, Which I struggle to believe, I can't imagine Wolves would be that dumb to have seen his performances for us, seen his strike rate for us and still offer us £4 Million for him, but if true it makes me hate Peter "Twat" Taylor even more, and it makes him a bigger Twat and than he already is.
Dr The Singh Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 People can laugh and take the piss out of him as muh as they like, but trust me he's the one laughing. Fair play to the guy, for a very average player he's amassed a massive wealth from his sisgning on fees and his salary. The guy not only does he have a nuscular body but a muscular bank account!!!!
AyewJoking Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 He was only rubbish when he played for us. Everywhere else he did ok. Did he play for Sheff Utd or am i barking up the wrong badger?
act smiley Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 He did. Don't think he was particularly good for them mind. He's essentially a decent championship striker and no more, which is a bit of a problem when you're in the Premiership.
davieG Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 To Notts County http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8276493.stm
dandannieldanok Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 To Notts Countyhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/8276493.stm Bit unnecessary signing him, they've already got 3 very decent strikers for League 2, better than Akinbiyi anyway.
purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 Good ridance he was rubbish for us, no goals in about 15 games. Sure he'll do ok for county the leagues poorer quality.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 I have this terrible feeling that he wil actually do really really well in that league. Seemed to have done Ok for everone but us. He has made millions from being fooking useless
Webbo Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 Good ridance he was rubbish for us, no goals in about 15 games. Sure he'll do ok for county the leagues poorer quality. He'll be playing with proper footballers as well.
purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 He'll be playing with proper footballers as well. And worse defenders.
Bert Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 He's no Paul Benson. Could be playing League One easily, and maybe the championship.
