I'm taking the kids on Saturday ( taking advantage of City playing Friday night ).

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on the best rides etc. Whats worth queueing for and what shouldn't i bother with.

Its been 20 years since i last went and i imagine things have changed quite a bit.

I personally think Air is the best ride.

Not your top end scary ride, but a very fun 3 minutes.

Bit of a queue, but good for the family.

If you love adrenaline rushes, Oblivion is the king, closely followed by Rita "Queen of Speed".

Air is top as well.

My favourite ride is old school - Nemisis. Gotta love it, Oblivions good too. Air is alright and Rita is alright. Hex still confuses the **** out of me and I have been on it like 3 times.

Oblivion. End of.

Went last week.

I know they are building a new ride next to Rita where Corksrew used to be, but they desperately need new rides!

Air is a "Nice" coaster.

The Black hole was good, but it aint there now is it?

Gen Smuts likes black holes (ALLEGEDLY!)

Oh and the one that goes straight down is a c.unt, especially when it hangs at the top...ims ure i shitted mysef on that too!!! Oblivion...like what Bert said!!^^

Mind you if your kids are young, they might not appreciate them ones!!! :D

Before you join the queue check out the height retrictions if you are taking kids.

Air is good. Doesn't make you you taste lunch again. The cable car thingy is good to get around. Hex makes you feel sick. The corkscrew has gone (When they took it down they found so many phones, coins, watches etc but they also found a faulse leg. Why did no one notice some poor bloke hopping off the ride!) But it all depends on how old they are as to what rides are good.

Black Hole has gone :(

What is good is the water park in the hotel. Kids love it. But whatever you do, don't stay there.

Someone also apparently came off the ride missing an ear (prosthetic). lol

I didn't even know that was gone until now >_<

Had to be taken down though it had been there for ages.

Any idea of what the new ride is going to be like?

Nothing will beat Nemesis. It's worth queuing longer for the front row.

Air is nice.

Rita is good fun.

Oblivion is

Hex is

This. Saw at Thorpe Park is better than Oblivion.

I haven't been for over 15 years but I was told to get there early, go to the far end of the park and work your way back to the front to avoid queues.
