Bryn Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Poor Joe Mattock, not even 19 is he? Shouldn't be so criticised, the boy shouldn't even be first choice yet and tbh he's always looked tidy whenever I've seen him. Will go far.

I think because we did so well this year people are picking the left back spot as the problem area when in actuality it wasn't even that bad.
teblin Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Leicester's attempt to sign Swindon striker Simon Cox could be derailed by interest from the top-flight clubs, but they are close to landing Lincoln midfielder Dany N'Guessan. (Daily Mail)
AyewJoking Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 what prem team in their right mind would sign Cox, is he that good?
breadandcheese Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 what prem team in their right mind would sign Cox, is he that good? His agent certainly is
Mickey O'Neil Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Celtic better not ****ing rob him from us. I'm well excited about this. Celtic are interested in Hibs' Steven Fletcher. Fletcher would still prefer a move to England over a move to the only giants in Glasgow , so with that point, I am not too worried... At Celtic he could be a squad player, and it could be a long way to go! Hope he comes to Leicester though. ...however, if I were Strachan, I'd have Cox every single time over Samaras who I find really frustrating. Cox is much better than Samaras and I feel he would get into the Celtic (or Gers) first team. I think Cox will go to a championship club. Someone said they'd be worried if the Baggies got involved...I'd agree with that. *I wonder if Cox's agent was waiting for Leeds to get promoted? Beckford looks like his mind is elsewhere*
David Guiza Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Thats got to be West Brom? Maybe there waiting untill the inevitable West Brom relegation.
flanimal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Shit, yeah, when Liverpool beat them they'll probably unleash the parachute payments and land The Cox. Honestly, why would he choose Leicester over West Brom? It's good Leeds stayed down, at least from a transfering players point of view, I think they would've be competition signing N'Guessan and many others.

Shakey chose us in L1 over a season in the Prem with West Brom . I know it was a bit of a wrench, but he still chose L1 over the Prem. Hoping Cox sees sense, Just like Hobbsy & Shakey.
flanimal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 I've never been to the West Brom facilities or anything, but if they come down, they'll have about £15m of parachute payments to buy and spend and influence.
Finnegan Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 Leicester = first team football. WBA = competition with a bunch of very handy Championship strikers. Cox wants to be seen by Premiership clubs. If one came in he'd go straight away - if not he wants to put himself in the shop window as best as possible. What good is he sitting on the bench at WBA or, worse, Celtic?
flanimal Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 West Brom's strikers are - Bednar, Miller, Moore, and maybe Fortune. You don't think at least 2 or 3 would leave in the summer?

WBA will offer higher wages and will have a much better chance of getting promoted than us. I've said all along he'll go WBA and if it comes down to being a straight choice between them and us, he'll go there.
ibbosuk Posted 15 May 2009 Posted 15 May 2009 If it comes down to a choice between Leicester & WBA Cox WILL choose WBA, its fairly obvious that they (WBA) have not appeared on the transfer radar (so far) because of there Premiership business. Regardless of Knowitnot 80% sure Deal "Cox coming to Leicester" WTF is that supposed to mean ??BTW and Flanagans Flannel......TRUST ME, IT'LL BE WBA, NEXT WEEK..........IF THEY WANT HIM Regards Guru Ibbosuk. quote name='Finnegan' date='May 15 2009, 02:30 PM' post='1375706'] Leicester = first team football.
