Stueyt74 Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 I agree about Lita. Would be an amazing coup. Imo could be playing in the premiership. He's strong, powerful and a prolific goalscorer. He could also back Howard up. I have to add, I know a lot of Reading supporters and they were chuffed to see the back of Lita. Apart from their first season in the Prem, Lita's done nothing at all for them. They all see him as an arrogant arsehole. But I'm sure Nigel could whip him into shape.
flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Look, we probably arn't getting either of them, Mandaric and his big mouth. Why not just get the transfer shortlist printed in a daily newspaper, y'know, in case other clubs haven't heard of targets! Mandaric can't keep his bloody gob shut!

Do you really think no other teams were looking at these players before MM said anything?
flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Do you really think no other teams were looking at these players before MM said anything? I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking, but oh well.
morris1234 Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Do you really think no other teams were looking at these players before MM said anything? yep! its not exactly going to make difference either
flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 yep! its not exactly going to make difference either It might though. But, I think when stuff gets leaked it's usually from the parent club to try and alert other teams to make more money. So, there's not a lot you can do.
Babylon Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking, but oh well. No, because half the time I haven't got a clue what you're on about, you're opinion seems to change every 5 minutes.
morris1234 Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 No, because half the time I haven't got a clue what you're on about, you're opinion seems to change every 5 minutes. now,now
Father Ted Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 No, because half the time I haven't got a clue what you're on about, you're opinion seems to change every 5 minutes. Same here.

flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 No, because half the time I haven't got a clue what you're on about, you're opinion seems to change every 5 minutes. Maybe I have bi polar... if my opinion changes back and forth every 5 minutes, maybe I should just post every 10 minutes, that would it would always be consistent.
Finnegan Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Players from abroad are less likely money wise to want to come to england due to the 50% tax on high earners. Oh no that terrible 5% tax rise. Now I can't go and play in the best league in the world.
flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Oh no that terrible 5% tax rise. Now I can't go and play in the best league in the world. Yeah, it would really hurt your £20,000 a week wages. You'd only be able to buy two Ferraris and not three...
teblin Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Oh no that terrible 5% tax rise. Now I can't go and play in the best league in the world. Are we in the best league in the world?

alanf0x Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Lincoln chairman Steff Wright says there are several clubs interested in Dany N'Guessan and his proposed move to Leicester is not a done deal. The highly-rated 21-year-old, who has rejected a new contract at Sincil Bank, has already held talks with the Foxes and a deal is expected to go through, but Wright believes interest from other clubs could hijack the Walkers Stadium switch. He told the Lincolnshire Echo: "Leicester will feel they have a head start on everybody by talking to Dany, but by no means is it cut and dry. "Although we have started talking to Leicester about a possible compensation package, there is still a long way to go and they still haven't agreed terms with the player. "Besides, I will not name the other clubs, but there are others waiting to talk to Dany and have made their interest known to us. "It's still very early and I expect there to be further developments in the next week."
flanimal Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Still think he'll sign for Sheffield United. We probably won't know anything until the play-off has happened. Expect N'Guessan's decision rests on that. That 90% probably means he came to Leicester to talk to the people and check things out; he was seen doing the same at Sheffield (allegedly). I think same with Cox, he's waiting on whether West Brom stay or go. We won't kno anything until a week or two from now. But I'd bet heavily we won't get either of them.
