Ultra Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 This may not have been the first forum for City fans (I think the Fox fanzine' former message board had that honour), but during its short history, it's become by far the biggest and the best. There have been plenty of events to cover during its lifetime - a change in the club's ownership, a relegation, a promotion and no fewer than NINE changes of manager. The only feature that's been largely absent to date has been success on the field, but hopefully that will soon change. Even the beeb and the local tabloid have to acknowledge that Foxestalk is now THE essential site for anyone seeking accurate, up-to-date info on our club. Congratulations to all who have contributed to its success. Here's to the next five years..
Craig Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Well i'm sure i joined on day one... Though i guess you could count Saturday as part of this week. But it's obvious that this is a pathetically blatant attempt on your part to get some sort of congratulations for your shitty 10k posts, not from me i'm afraid.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 When ever it is Well Done Mark with help of all mods and admin on a great site......i know i would be lost with out it.

Perhaps he'll retire on such a prestigious landmark.
General Smuts Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 I don't remember a time before Foxestalk. However my joining did coincide with me starting uni so that may have played its part too.
Jon the Hat Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Brilliant forum, well run, good contributors and good mods. It doesn't get any better. Keep up the good work!! And thanks to Mark for bankrolling all our fun.
Mark Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Well Mark joined on the 11th so it's that. Actually started the forum up a week earlier on the day of the Euro 2004 final, but I accidently deleted everything! I've gone by the 11th ever since though, which coincidently is the day the tickets to the masters is.

Yeh I remember that. But I wasn't registered then so obviously it doesn't count!

Teeno Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 I remember being the first person to reach 100 post and then everything was deleted. Can't believe it has been 5 years

James. Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Ideal time to make a donation I think. Just sent £10 across Paypal. Good work Mark, and everyone else.
Monk Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Foxestalk has been a great part of my life for the past 3 and a half years, met a number of people off here who are good friends now, and as a result I started going to away games more. Great stuff, and although I don't post as much as I used to I still pass by every day and see what's going on.

Allowed me to become the first non-Mark poster.
MC Prussian Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 I can't believe it's already been five years. Never thought I'd post this much on a Leicester City messageboard, but after the OS site crashed in 2004 and more and more ****** were joining the anti-MA brigade (with some nasty stuff being said), I couldn't stand that rotting place no more and found a safe heaven with FT. A big shout out to every single contributing member on here - you make this place really worthwile. Apart from the ever-changing amount of rubbish being posted.
foxoffderby Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Before I found this I would play online poker at pokerstars everynight (no joke). Only joined a few months ago but now im addicted to this forum. Thats the biggest complement i can pay.
