I have put together the fact that Villa have gone cold on Delph because of the price, we all know a player that has Delph in his pocket and that we are supposedly interested in yet another midfielder. Yes I am kidding but I could see it happening. :huh:^_^

Does the signing of a midfielder mean we can't sign a striker then? Have we used up our quota of players?

The facts are Wesolowski is not really rated and Clemence has been out for over a year. An injury to one of our players would leave us short again, just as it did last year when we had to play people out of position quite a lot.

I actually have no problem with signing another midfielder, and trust in Nig to do his best in the transfer market. Its easy to sit here and say we need a striker but who?? There aren't that many quality strikers around!! I trust Nig and am sure there are new players still to be signed! I was just having a laff!

Read in The Sun that we are mulling over a 750k move, although they have called him Sammy Clingham and put him down as a striker!

Anyway, if Andy King goes to Aston Villa for 2.5million :huh: which I'd take if I was Nigel, I would sign Clingan. Seems that we are being realistic with our targets (if this is true) and that we are actually going to have a shot at the division.

750k, I think we should sign him ecspecially IF King goes to Villa, as well as Weselowski going aswell.

However, Clingan, Wellens and Oakley are all around the same height and we could do with a big lump of a midfielder.

How the hell are people supposed to know you are joking from "Yeah but we really need a new striker!! Don't you think!?". On the other hand, had you actually bothered to use the quote function I would have seen that you were replying to him and that it was a joke.

Not everyone reads every single post on here, so bare that in mind before you go spouting off telling others to lighten up.

Well if you cant be bothered to read the post above mine then dont single out what i have said! Yes you are right i should have used the quote function, it was a quick spurr of the moment comment trying to raise a smile or a laff!

Ive read this forum a while and very rarely post! You wanna think your the big man on the forum then carry on!! I shall return to observing rather than contributing! Foxestalk is a great tool for me to keep up to date with all the City goings on!! I was a season ticket holder for years before i moved away and still attend as many matches as i possibly can now!! But if you wanna jump on wanna the few comments i have made then why should i bother?

Ello guys, Norwich fan here.

Just thought i'd pass on thoughts on Sammy seeing as your looking like favourites to land him.

He's a fantastic player and would be a great signing for you. He's a great passer, calm, composed, will get stuck in and he's a leader. My only complaint with him is sometimes he passes sideways too much, although thats better than a punt forward and giving away posession. Probably our most important player bar Wes Hoolahan.

He'd work better sitting deep and protecting the defense with a more attacking player playing with him in the centre, as he'll break up the play nicely and pass it out of the defense. He can also do a job at Centre Back if need be, he done it several times for us last season.

He's a fairly loyal player IMO, he's not kicked up a stink or said he wants to leave but we could really do with the money for him and he's too good to be playing League 1 football.

Good luck for next season, really hope you guys have a strong season.

I don't think i'm a big man on here and certainly don't give a shit whether you post or not. But don't call me out on something when you can't even be arsed to quote what you are referring to. Just because your post is directly below another means bugger all.

you've got to remember that rules don't apply to Martin Allen. It's like that "i can't see you therefore you can't see me" thing. Allen doesn't belive in the rules therefore they don't affect him.

Yeah he did, he's pretty good at set peices, scored a nice free kick against Birmingham too.

He's a pretty sweet penalty taker also.

my work collegue thats a forest fan and givin all us leicester fans crap because compared to them we have signed crap apprantly they have had a 1.5 million bid for blackstock accepted he sed that clingan wud be a awesome signing 4 us he sed hes brill he also had to mention r only decent signing is wellens he sed he played awesome against them and he scored a free kick against them just thought iu wud say blackstock worth a shout com on pearson sign sum1 decent
