Koke Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 She was tiny and blonde but orange.... average would be my assessment - fairly attractive but nothing special EDIT: this was a while ago... he could have a new one by now of course I saw him once in Highcross with his blond bimbo trophy wife - that was about a year ago. But being a young footballer, he probably found a new chick to bone by now.
The Doctor Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He has an Orange girlfriend too Simon Jordan is a woman!
C-man Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 They ought to play a recording of Mattock saying 'I've got more chance of going up with Albion than with Leicester' before every game this season. Use it as motivation.
BlueSi13 Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 To be honest i wish him all the best, he's a young boy blinded by the money WBA had to offer and the likelihood that they'll be promoted back to the prem next year, there's no denying that they have a much better chance than us..... However, West Brom are destined to never make an impact in the prem unless they change their strategy and gamble big time, otherwise another premier league wooden spoon beckons for them.... Also they will never be as big as us, going on the size of the City and fanbase alone, we easily out-do them, especially if you decide to take into account the two clubs history over the past 15 years So good luck Joe, though i have a feeling it is a decision you will come to regret when you career is all over
Father Ted Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Just got back off holiday to hear this and all I can say is 'On yer Fecking Bike!' Mattock is a thick, stupid, overrated, hypocritical, unloyal moron who will get nowhere in his career and possibly even his life when he is found out by other clubs.

Nice to see you have a balanced view on this

Such anger in one who should be competley chilled arriving back for their hols. Did it rain?
davieG Posted 12 August 2009 Author Posted 12 August 2009 That Richie Wellen's he's real disloyal bastard went to Leicester in the same League as Doncaster under the 'they have a better football pedigree and a better chance of promotion' guise but everyone knows it was just for the money. Loyalty pah!
lou Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 That Richie Wellen's he's real disloyal bastard went to Leicester in the same League as Doncaster under the 'they have a better football pedigree and a better chance of promotion' guise but everyone knows it was just for the money.Loyalty pah! fair comment but I think most peoples vitriol stems from the manner in which he (Mattock) went about it more than him going. On reflection I feel hes a young lad who was more than likely ill-advised. Im in a particularly forgiving mood today
davieG Posted 12 August 2009 Author Posted 12 August 2009 fair comment but I think most peoples vitriol stems from the manner in which he (Mattock) went about it more than him going. On reflection I feel hes a young lad who was more than likely ill-advised. Im in a particularly forgiving mood today Well I understand the vitriol based on the way he handled the move and agree with it although as you say that's probably down to his greedy agent who will now get a pay-off that he wouldn't have got had he stayed. But there is still an awful lot of 'disloyalty' being thrown about by people who are quite happy to take on players in a similar way
Koke Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 He can move if he wishes. Heck, he could go to Cov if he wanted. I was just peed off the way he disrespected us on SSN. I still hope he does well to be honest.
FilbertTheFox Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Well for my first post I think it's only right it should be on the topic of the Judas that is Joe Mattock! He is overrated in my opinion and if the 'undisclosed fee' paid for him was £2m+ as rumoured then that's a smart move by City. He's not a bad player but he's replaceable and if he wanted out then no point in keeping him. The thing that angers me about it like everyone else is the fact that it was firmly in the players' hands, he wanted to join WBA, which if they were a Premiership club, maybe Villa who have a good record of bringing youngsters into the 1st team under MON, you could understand the attraction, but a team in the same league with the same sort of stature as City, that's just not right. The other thing about it is the fact the Mattock himself has been quoted as saying on many occasions that it was a 'dream come true to play for my hometown club' - Yeah and i'm sure Cashley Cole said the same thing before joining the Russian revolution at Chelski! It's sad that football revolves around greed these days! It wasn't like that when Lineker and co were playing.
Babylon Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I think a few people have made themselves look a bit silly in this thread.
Alexikokopops Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Well I understand the vitriol based on the way he handled the move and agree with it although as you say that's probably down to his greedy agent who will now get a pay-off that he wouldn't have got had he stayed. But there is still an awful lot of 'disloyalty' being thrown about by people who are quite happy to take on players in a similar way I think the reason people are spouting loyalty is because he's a local lad who supports the team, and who claimed winning the title last season was the stuff of dreams (or something along those lines). who should stay with us through thick and thin even if we in the Conference and Man Utd made an offer. Personally I don't have a problem with the loyalty thing, I'd do the same probably, but he did go about it in a completely cockish way.
flanimal Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 If Mattock simply said "I moved to West Brom, because I get paid more" I'd be less annoyed. If he wasn't contradicting himself, I wouldn't be so bothered. But then to slag off your home club, uncalled for. All he had to do was say something along the lines of "I'm grateful to Leicester for developing my career, but I feel a change is the next step" instead of, to paraphrase, "Leicester have shit players, play shit football, and the manager don't care about me". ****. Got no respect for him, and I don't wish him well. He's an overpaid twat. Couldn't give two shits about him.

Agreed Completely Hope One Of Our Players Nail Him When We Play Him And Does his Cruciates etc.
Shane Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 "Leicester have shit players, play shit football, and the manager don't care about me". and when did he say this?
Messi Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 and when did he say this? Wasnt exactly in them words but he said they play better football and have better players,, TWAT!!
Hackneyisblue Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 He can move if he wishes. Heck, he could go to Cov if he wanted. I was just peed off the way he disrespected us on SSN. I still hope he does well to be honest. Disrespected?????? Do you mean 'showed a lack of respect to his former club, fellow players and club supporters'? ;-)

Messi Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 He heard it from Armand Traore It Was Actually Sailf Diao
flanimal Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 He said on Sky Sports News. Like I said, I was paraphrasing, but he definitely said "West Brom have better players and play better football". I didn't like the way he said it either. I never liked Mattock, and I never thought of him as anything higher than average. He always seemed arrogant, cocky and stupid (even for a footballer!). I hope Pearson uses what Mattock says as motivation for the squad. If I was a Leicester player, I'd be fired up bigtime after his shit-talk.
Tommy G Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Agreed Completely Hope One Of Our Players Nail Him When We Play Him And Does his Cruciates etc. Thats a bit OTT i think <_<
