casablancas Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 "Most Declined Player Bruno Berner went downhill more than anyone in the squad as the season went on. Joe Mattock's recent performances have also come under scrutiny of late and this is reflected by his position in this list while Lloyd Dyer's final month of the season was probably enough to see him only finish 3rd in this category." --- 3rd – Lloyd Dyer 2nd – Joe Mattock 1st – Bruno Berner Thats what those fuvking Brummies have got to put up with. but good luck to them cos he is one frustrating MO-FO. We all know Berner is gonna perform much more consistently at this level
Shane Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 He heard it from Armand Traore ORLY??? Armand Traore you say...
Matt Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Anyone notice he's not been removed of the programmes yet? I've only just noticed when i've flicked through, He's still available to sponsor if anyone is interest and he is still in our squad on the back page.

More importantly, Mr Wellens loves a bit of Lionel Richie. He just keeps going up in my estimation.
MPH Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 God help me, im slow... This is what Mandaric and NP had the mini tini fall out disagreement over isnt it?
Daggers Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 God help me, im slow... This is what Mandaric and NP had the mini tini fall out disagreement over isnt it? Nope.
Fox92 Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 More importantly, Mr Wellens loves a bit of Lionel Richie. He just keeps going up in my estimation. Did you see his funniest moment in football, from the matchday programme? Richie Wellens: "Kicking the ball at the advertising board and trapping a little boys fingers - then his dad wanting to kill me" Anyone notice he's not been removed of the programmes yet?I've only just noticed when i've flicked through, He's still available to sponsor if anyone is interest and he is still in our squad on the back page. Ohh yes just noticed that seeing as you mentioned it, I was looking for number 23 and thinking he isn't on it and then realized he changed to number 3 and yes he is still on
davieG Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 WBA fans seem to admire him: From yesterday's Observer. WBA Unofficial.com's Richard Jefferson in the fans view: Who played well/who had a nightmare? "Joe Mattock at left back was appalling in every part of his game, but he's only young".
Babylon Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 WBA fans seem to admire him: To be fair their reaction to him is very mixed. Some like him and some don't.
davieG Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 To be fair their reaction to him is very mixed. Some like him and some don't. I'm sure they're no different to us, just a bit of shit stirring on my part
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 To be fair their reaction to him is very mixed. Some like him and some don't. I watched the game and he didn't do anything wrong, then again he wasn't awesome. Side note Koren from WBA is awesome. completly run the show and got forward plenty of times.
Tommy G Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Saw him ambling into Sophbeck in Leicester on sat night at around 4am, he got some abuse!! Then sneaked off to McDonalds where we saw him again. He couldn't be arsed to wait for some food so waved down a black cab and appeared to be negotiating the price for some time. Which if true is shocking as he must be on around 10k a week! Had his usual arrogant swagger about him, cock.

maddog Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I think it was about quarter to 5 when we saw him in McD's. not sure whether WBA played home or away or whether he played at all. I wouldn't begrudge him a night out but i wouldn't be out that late if i was a pro footballer.
maddog Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Meh sophbecks open until 6am Where abouts is it. 6am isn't even late, it's early the next morning
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I think it was about quarter to 5 when we saw him in McD's. not sure whether WBA played home or away or whether he played at all. He did play for most part of the last home game versus Ipswich (and was subbed by Beattie in the 75th minute).
AjcW Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Where abouts is it. 6am isn't even late, it's early the next morning Next door to pizza express near new walk.
